6 - The Last Two

Y/N Pov

Myself and Minho followed by Jeff got Alby inside of the medjack hut and we made sure that neither boy was stung as a precaution which they weren't which was good and then I dressed the gash on Alby's leg while Jeff checked Minho over "I know it was stupid of me to do that Minho, but do you really think I could run with you guys?" I asked him, he nodded smiling "yeah I do, and I know Alby would agree because he spoke with me about your abilities but he know you aren't ready yet Y/N" he said I smiled back at him and that's when Alby came around "Hey take it easy" I said to him helping him sit up "Thanks" he said I nodded "it's fine don't mention it" I said he smiled "But about your conversation I just about heard, yeh you would make a good runner with time and learning" he said I nodded agreeing with him helping him off the bed.

 We all then set off about our days I of course like every morning spend it with Jeff restocking the hut and learning more about the job which is rewarding and I am quite a learner and pick things up quickly and the morning drifts by and I head to lunch "Hey boys" I say entering the cabin I sit down eat and then head of to find Newt gardening to which of course as most days I started helping him and we hangout and spoke and of course no day would be normal without having to check runners after they return from the Maze but today was a day we would get an afternoon off so we headed to the cliff jump and set to hanging out and goofing around even Alby joined us this time it was nice like we are a family.

I headed back after getting tired and decided to head to my tree house for a short nap, I opened the hatch entering closing it behind me placing my stuff down before heading over to my hammock laying down watching the clouds before falling asleep and another memory start to play.

Y/N Memories

The memory showed five of them nearly doing everything together and a helpless Y/N being dragged away after the situation in the security room, Janson threw her in a cell after Ava stopped him from causing harm to the small girl, she went days, weeks, months even without eating or talking and that really riled Janson up, but she kept holding the necklace a girl had given her on her birthday, it had the letters T x F/N (First name) cutely engraved on the front.

Y/N Pov 

I awoke from the memory it was the first nice one I had since arriving here it was nice, now I sort of knew the origin to my necklace that I felt I shouldn't take off, I had gotten it for my birthday, but it's sad I don't and can't know who the T stands for but the group of five, I couldn't get that off my mind, there was two boys and 3 girls one of which I  knew for sure was me but I couldn't remember the other four, but I quickly shook it off as a I heard the call of my name "Yo Y/N you here?" peering over seeing Chuck "yep, I am coming down" I said sliding down carefully "How can I help Chuck" I asked him with a smile "Newt told me to come ask if you wanted to come hang out at the campfire with some of us we are going to have food and tell stories" he said, I smiled "I would love to let's go" I said and we a walked over to everyone else who was at the campfire.

We all sat surrounding it keeping warm and toasting marshmallows as people told stories it came around the circle to me and I decided I wanted to share the food memory I had with everyone as some of them had asked about the necklace before this "So I don't have a story as such" I said as the circle smiled "Go on" Newt said "I actually want to say I had my first good memory today" I told them a lot more smiles came my way I even caught one from Gally out the corner of my eye "That's good, you deserve a break with the time you've had" Alby said I nodded continuing "I saw an old memory of who I believe were 4 friends and myself doing almost everything fun together and I remember my birthday which is a few days away now, and I've learnt that the necklace was given to me as a gift by one of the other girls for my birthday, I just wish I could know who the 4 people are" I say smiling cupping the necklace in my hands "It's a really nice necklace too, also we'll definitely celebrate your birthday" Thomas said I smiled as we all watched the sun begin to set over the giant walls, there was a nice breeze in the air too which made the evening better the circle continued telling stories it got back to me and I was doing well with it before I was stopped almost dead in my tracks as the monthly sound blared.

I was the first out of my seat "I'll go look!" and I bolted faster than all the boys to the open box I got there and was taken back by what I saw that the boys yelled "What is it!" Newt yelled seeing me jump  "It's not a guy! There are two girls!" I yell as they boys finally joined me after I jumped into the metal box "Y/N be careful" Alby said arriving first "there's a note" I said the boys peered over "What's the note say" Thomas asks "They are the last two ever" I read off the paper.
