chapter 2: Anxiety

I step out of the car and see Lye walk over to me, his height towering over me. mixed feelings of fear, anxiety, happiness and love overwhelm me. As he comes closer and closer i begin to wonder if i should stay or run, but i'm frozen in my place.

That's when i'm enclosed into someones arms and look down to see the most beautiful girl to ever exist, instantly all my worries fade away and i hug them back tightly. I'm finally able to hug them, to feel their arms around me and it makes me feel like the luckiest girl alive.

"hi beautiful" I smile and that's when i realise this is the first time i've truly felt happiness in days. 

"hi starlight" she smiles back, looking up at me with the prettiest eyes i've ever seen.

"princess.." Lye says softly and i look up to see him standing over me and i instantly hug him, ignoring any fears i may have and just wanting to feel his arms around me. "your ok.." He mumbles, holding me tightly.

"poor sweet boy over here has been worrying non-stop about you" Sadie says softly.

"you have? And i'm ok handsome, well as ok as i can be.." I say, trying to reassure him slightly.

"mhm..I just don't want you to be hurt" he confesses.

"i'm not, i promise" I tell him, knowing at least something i tell him can be the truth, I may not be emotionally ok, but i know that physically i am, which is at least something.

"yeah i guess.." he mumbles. 

Without a second thought i kiss him softly and he instantly leans into the kiss, deepening it slightly which makes me blush. He then licks my bottom lip, silently asking for permission which of course i give to him. We explore each others mouths, kissing each other like there's no tomorrow, my arms wrap around his neck whilst i continue to kiss him. "does that prove to you that i'm ok?" I giggle softly which he just nods at, seeming slightly flustered.

"well now i'm jealous" Sadie says softly, making me instantly snake my arms around her waist and pull her to me, kissing her softly, to which she blushes at. "that help your jealousy a little?" I ask. "hm i don't know i might need another kiss to make sure of it~" she teases slightly. I kiss her a couple of times and then pull away with a soft smile.

For a moment i seem to forget what even brought me to this moment, that is until i hear a males voice say "come on love birds" which pulls me out of my small trance and makes me remember everything.

"i swear one of these days i'll end up killing you liver." Lye says to the guy.

"You wouldn't kill me Gray, you love me too much" The person who's supposedly called liver says to lye. Gray? i swear he gets called anything but lye..

"try me." Lye says in a way that i don't know if he's joking or is seriously threatening this poor guy, but Liver seems to just take it with a pinch of salt.

"I guess i'll have to introduce you to everyone hm princess?" Lye says to me with a smile.

Instantly my anxiety comes back, meeting people scares me generally. Meeting Lye's friends scares me even more. Sure i've heard them whilst on call with Lye and Sadie before, but online is completely different to in person. Plus even online my anxiety showed quite a bit.

"y yeah i guess.." I stutter, worries flooding my mind again. what if they don't like me? what if their scary? what if they don't accept me?  Sadie pulls me out of my thought by taking my hand in hers and guiding me inside.

"it'll be ok little one, i'm sure they'll like you" She tells me reassuringly, which helps a little, but my anxiety is still high. Will they though?

As we walk inside i see people sat in the living room talking, and i instantly tighten my grip on Sadie's hand but she doesn't seem to mind.

"guys meet Allia" Lye says, a smile on his lips, but his eyes seem to be daring them to do something. I may love him but god does he scare me at times..

"hey, i'm Blade, it's nice to meet you" A boy smiles at me and he instantly seems like the type of person i may be able to get along with.

"hi.." I smile nervously.

"obviously you know me, the best person you'll ever meet" Liver says with a laugh.

"mhm.."

"i'm joking chill, we don't bite, unless you want us too" he laughs, seeming so chill, which makes me question how someone could ever be like that.

"shut up" I say with a small laugh.

"ah there we go a laugh" he smiles.

"liver." lye warns.

"what? i made her laugh, that must count for something" Liver replies with a smirk.

Lye simply glares at him, making Liver roll his eyes but he sits down with a small laugh.

Lye continues to introduce me to people, until finally the last person to introduce me to is Creed.

Creed is Lye's best friend, and honestly quiet handsome. Not handsome enough for me to ever make a move on because he's obviously Lye's best friend and i wouldn't want to cause any issues. However handsome enough for me to have some thoughts about things that could never happen.

Creed gives me a simple nod of an introduction, but i take it as a blessing that it's the only thing he does because i don't really know how to act around him.

"well we're about to have dinner, and i think it's best to discuss everything over that" Lye tells me and i nod softly, nervous as to how the conversation about things is going to go.

But definitely not expecting what is about to happen..
