I like the way you kiss me. I like the way you run your fingers against my skin. I like the way you make me feel happy. I like the way you make me feel safe. But most of all i like the way you make me feel not alone. i've felt alone for years even if i technically wasn't. Physically i wasn't that i'll admit but i was emotionally and mentally, and that's what made it hurt the most. But when i met you i was no longer alone. That's what made me fall in love with you.
Those were the words that ran through my mind as i thought about the way tonight went. For once it was one that was truly perfect.
The day had been calm, I did some reading in the garden as it was the right day for it and i hadn't read in ages.
I mean it was calm until Liver decided he was gonna run out and snatch the book out of my hand. And act like a child that had just stolen a cookie from the cookie jar.
"yes?" I ask, a confused expression on my face.
"hide me!" He yelped, looking terrified.
"um why?" i almost giggled at how much he looked like a 5 year old in this current time.
"I may or may not have stolen some of Fern's cheese. in my defence it was just sitting there and looking like it wanted to be eaten." he rambled, seeming so worried about it. I mean apparently the last time he got stabbed over it so who knew what she would do this time.
"Liver Reese Harper." the voice was cold and threatening and would make anyone afraid.
"yeah i think your on your own there" I giggle softly and take back my book before Liver makes a run for it.
I continue to read before i yet again get interrupted.
"seriously can a girl not find a way to read around here" I sigh softly.
"sorry mi amore but i was wondering if you wanted to go on a date with me and Sadie tonight?" Lye asks with a soft, apologetic smile.
"really?" I ask, instantly lighting up. A date with the two loves of my life sounded amazing.
"mhm! would you like to?" Sadie asks, looking hopeful.
"of course, i'd love to" I smile, staying calm on the outside but internally squealing. They really were gonna take me on a date.
"yay!" sadie squealed, being as adorable as always.
A few hours later and they both were waiting outside for me whilst i finished the final touches of my look, i wanted to look perfect for them but also perfect for myself.
My look wasn't what most people would decide on but to me, it was perfect.
I decided on a black dress that reached mid-thigh, some fishnets, some black lace gloves, black platforms and a spiked steampunk gas mask.
When going downstairs lye and Sadie looked at me in fascination, which instantly satisfied my nerves for how they would react.
Lye was wearing a dark wear and war core based outfit and Sadie was wearing a beautiful black dress and heels. They both looked cool but also hot as hell.
"where are we going?" I ask out of curiousity.
"it's a surprise princess" Lye smiles softly. I hated surprises. But for them i would be patient especially as i trusted them.
