Chapter seven.
Ariadne sighs, rolling back her shoulders as she fixes the corset in place over the white shirt. The metal corset sat over her chest, leather trousers tucked into her boots, hair pinned back in a bun with curls loose around her face. Looking over her shoulder as a soft knock comes to her door, she softly commands them to come in, smiling gently as Legolas places a cup by the bedside unit.
"How are you this morning?" Legolas asks, looking over her with a smile. His hair was braided out of his face, silver tunic with detailing over it.
"I am well, you?" Ariadne mirrors his smile, though he could sense her frustration as the red thick ribbon that held her corset together gets tangled between her fingers.
"We are all well rested, ready for the journey to continue," Legolas replies, making his way over to her, looking at her through the mirror, he points to the corset, "May I?"
Ariadne nods, letting ribbon fall from her fingertips as Legolas takes them, "Thank you."
Legolas smiles, "The Hobbits are disappointed they aren't staying."
"As am I, its truly beautiful here."
"It is."
Ariadne looks up at Legolas, his eyes meeting hers as she smiles softly at him. His fingertips tighten the corset as he ties the ribbon in a bow at the base of her spine.
"There," Legolas takes a steps back, hands clasping behind his back.
"Thank you, Legolas," Ariadne replies, picking up her back from the bottom of her bed and the cup, Legolas had brought her, "Where you waiting for me?"
"Well," Legolas clears his throat, "We are having trouble moving Merry and Pippin, we were hoping you'd help."
Ariadne softly laughs, "Did you offer them food?"
Legolas's face drops in realisation, making her smile again. Ariadne pats his shoulder as she passes, "Come on."

Ariadne watched as the Lady of Light approached each member of the Fellowship, giving each member a different item; bows, daggers, rope- exchanging a laugh with Gimli before standing in front of Ariadne with a fond smile.
"A sword," The Lady of Light holds a beautiful sword, a silver blade with golden inscriptions, the handle is wrapped in a blood red ribbon, "One of the strongest blade known to man, now held in a woman's grasp," Galadriel gently lifts Ariadne's chin, her ocean eyes meets the Lady's, "One fit for a queen."
Ariadne smiles, taking the sword in her hand, placing it in the holster beside her father's dagger, looking back up at Galadriel, "Thank you."
