Debbie (To The Cactus): Do you think it would be a good year this year? I hope so too. [Closes her locker]

[Ben enters the scene]

Debbie: Ben!?

Ben: Hey Debbie, so what are your New Year's resolutions?

Debbie: So I've some things on my mind, but I haven't really thought about one yet; what about you, Ben?

Ben: Actually, we haven't really talked about ever since I asked you to be my girlfriend and you haven't really given me an answer.

Debbie: So are you telling me your New Year's resolution is to make me your girlfriend?

[Ben nods]

Debbie: I just don't know if you're sincere, Ben. I mean, you've hurt me too many times and I don't want to be just another girl to you.

Ben: But you're different, Debbie.

JianHao: [Enters the scene, interrupts and opens his locker] Sorry.

Ben (To Debbie): What can I do to convince you?

JianHao: Oh, this is not awkward at all. Ramen?

Debbie: Do you have shrimp flavor?

JianHao: Nope, only kimchi, sorry! [Left the scene]

Debbie: I mean I-

Hakim: [Enters the scene and interrupts] Yo, Ben! Did you see the new store in the canteen? The foot is pretty good and I heard new lunch lady, she's pretty cute - let's go check it out, Ben. Come on Ben, let's go. [Left the scene along with Ben]

Julynn: [Enters the scene] Wait what? Ben confessed to you!?

Debbie: Yes, he did!

Julynn: So, what you're going to tell him!?

Debbie: Uh...

Julynn: What? Having cold feet?

Debbie: I mean you know, Ben says things that he doesn't mean sometimes, so...

Julynn: Right... but if you think about it, if you and Ben date you would be the most popular couple in school and who knows? You might even be the prom king and queen!

Debbie: Prom queen!? Me!?

Julynn: Yeah!

Debbie: Nah, my Mom wouldn't allow that, let's go. [Closes her locker and left the scene along with Julynn]

Kevin: Wow Denise, what you got there?

Ayaka: Since it's the season of gifting, here are some gifts I got from Australia.

Debbie: Is that a pair of Nike shoes?

Ayaka: Mm-hmm, I got this one for JianHao, it's the most expensive one I could find and I heard that he really likes it.

Ren Yi Xiang: So I guess you got an equally good gift for Vincent?

Ayaka: For Vincent, I got him... socks.

Kevin: Right.

Ayaka: These are for you [Gave the gift to Julynn]. And these are for the boys at the back. [Gave the gift to Ren Yi Xiang and Kevin]

Ren Yi Xiang: I'm a boy.

Ayaka: And for Kaho... [Takes out vegemite]

Kaho: Ah yes, my late night snack every time I go to Australia. I'm half Australian by the way!

Takeshi: Really? You seem more Japanese than Australian.

Ayaka: Finally, [Slides Bungo Stray Dogs merch to Takeshi] I know how much you love the anime.

Takeshi: Thanks!

Ayaka: Oh wait, I forgot someone. [Takes out a copy of The Hunger Games and throws it to Kami]

Miss Sherly: Alright class, so before we start off the new year, let's work on some New Year's resolutions for today. This is so that we can seek self-improvement and be the better versions of ourselves. With that being said, for today's homeroom lesson, I would like all of you to present your New Year's resolutions and how to achieve them.

Vincent: [Interrupts] Do we really have to do this, Miss Sherly? I think I'm already perfect, the perfect grade A specimen, right Denise? [Chuckles] Right? Denise? Denise? This is where you agree with me.

Debbie: What about you, Miss Sherly? What is your New Year's resolution?

Miss Sherly: Well my New Year's resolution is actually to travel and experience the world with my partner.
