Rishab POV continues….

As the first rays of sunlight streaming through the window greeted me,  I slowly woke from my slumber. Then I realised that I stayed in her bedroom while admiring my sleeping beauty last night.

Blinking away the remnants of sleep, I glanced over at Ishita, still peacefully asleep in my T-shirt. A tender smile crossed my lips as I watched her, marvelling at her beauty even in the simplicity of sleep.

Despite the stiffness in my muscles from sleeping in the chair, I made no move to disturb her. Instead, I silently slipped out of the room, not wanting to disrupt her rest or cause her any embarrassment. The sight of her wearing my shirt filled my heart with joy.

As I moved out of her room, I finished up my personal tasks in the guestroom.  I couldn't shake off the concern I felt for Ishita. Learning about her struggles with depression weighed heavily on my mind,  I was determined to do whatever I could to support her.

Deciding to let her sleep a little longer, I made my way to the kitchen to prepare breakfast for both of us. Poha seemed like a comforting and nourishing option, perfect for starting the day on a positive note.

With a sense of purpose, I gathered the ingredients and set to work, the rhythmic sound of chopping and sizzling filling the air. As the aroma of spices filled the kitchen, I found solace in the simple act of cooking, grateful for the opportunity to care for Ishita in my own small way.

With breakfast ready, I set the table and poured us both a cup of tea, eager to share this meal with Ishita once she woke up.

As I waited for her to join me, I couldn't help but feel a sense of hope stirring within me. And as I sat down to breakfast, I silently prayed that today would be a brighter day for both of us, filled with moments of joy and healing.

A few minutes later, Ishita came out of the bedroom and noticed me  at the dining table. She stared at me quietly as I was placing plates on the table.

" Good morning...." I greeted her, wanting to break the awkwardness.

" Good morning..." She greeted me back and started moving towards the kitchen.

" Ishu .... I already prepared tea for you and poured it in the flask. I prepared poha. First have breakfast..." I said.

She turned in my direction and  walked to me. " From tomorrow, don't prepare anything for me. I will manage myself. Remember my words yesterday, I am staying with you for my parents ..." She said sternly.

I nodded my head looking at her face as I don't want to argue with her. But I can sense it was a perfect lie through her eyes.

As I prepared to leave for work, I couldn't shake off the nagging concern for Ishita's safety. The threat posed by Shravan loomed over us like a dark cloud, casting a shadow of fear and uncertainty over our lives.Despite our differences and misunderstandings, I couldn't bear the thought of Ishita facing danger alone. I knew that I had to do everything in my power to protect her, to keep her safe from harm's way.As I received a call from Preetham, confirming my plans for the day, I made a silent vow to remain vigilant, to watch over Ishita from afar and ensure that she was never alone in her struggles.

Once we had our breakfast in silence, she started walking to the kitchen. I stopped calling her by name.

" I am going to my work as I got a call from Preetham..." I informed her.

" It's none of my business....where you go. ..." She said while pouring tea in the cup.

" It's my duty to inform my wife..." I replied. " If you have  to go to your office, let me know. I will drop you as both our destinations are on the same way...."

" I took leave for one week. Only I need to go if I get a call from the client..." She replied.

“ Fine…then. .. Even if you are upset with me, don't take the risk of going alone. Call me or Preetham if you need to go out. But don't go alone without any information. “ “Please…” I said.

She stared at me and nodded her head.

As I grappled with the conflicting priorities between my career and Ishita's safety, I couldn't help but feel torn. On one hand, I longed to stay by her side and ensure her well-being, especially in light of the threats posed by Shravan. Yet, on the other hand, I recognized the importance of honouring my commitments to my career, especially when it came to crucial events like the pre-release of a film I had choreographed.

Despite my reservations, I ultimately made the difficult decision to attend the event with Preetham and the rest of the team. While it pained me to leave Ishita alone, I knew that my presence at the event was essential for my career advancement. In the fast-paced world of entertainment, communication and media publicity were paramount, and missing such an important opportunity could have detrimental effects on my professional reputation.

As I set out for the event, a sense of guilt gnawed at me, knowing that Ishita would be alone at home. Yet, I took solace in the knowledge that I had taken precautions to ensure her safety, including installing CCTV cameras and providing her with a means of communication in case of emergency.

As I navigated the challenges of balancing career aspirations with personal responsibilities, I vowed to remain vigilant and attentive to Ishita's needs, even from a distance. No matter where my career took me, her safety and well-being would always be my top priority.  I would do everything in my power to protect her, even if it meant making difficult choices along the way.

Ishita POV

As Rishab left for his pre-release event, I couldn't shake off the feeling of unease that settled over me. With a heavy heart, I locked the door carefully, following Rishab's instructions.

As I moved through the rooms, a sense of loneliness washed over me, the emptiness of the space amplifying my feelings of apprehension. Despite my best efforts to stay strong and composed, the fear of the unknown lingered in the back of my mind, casting a shadow over my thoughts.

With a sigh, I tried to push aside my anxieties. I tried to busy myself with household chores, hoping to distract myself from the nagging sense of fear that threatened to overwhelm me.Yet, no matter how much I tried to occupy my mind, the feeling of loneliness never left me.

A few hours passed, I found myself counting down the moments until Rishab's return, longing for the comfort and security of his presence by my side. Just then, I got a call from Manasi. My face lightened up on seeing the display name.

Hi ….” I greeted Manasi as soon as I attended the call.

“ Hi… did you check what was there in the box that Tony gave you! “ She asked me excitedly. Then I realised about the box that I hid in the wardrobe.

" No...." I replied.

" Why!  Are you and my brother busy last night as you are alone after many days! " She asked me in a teasing tone.

" Manasi...  You know that still we have many matters to settle..." I said.

She giggled and said, " Yeah... I know. But call me once after you check what is in the box. I am so curious to know..."

I quickly ended the call and went to the wardrobe. Excitedly, I retrieved the box from the wardrobe and eagerly opened it, curious to discover its contents. As I lifted the lid, I found a card with a small note and a carefully wrapped item nestled inside.

To my innocent beauty …..”
