CHAPTER 40

 

Shirlyn's POV

"I didn't know that you were here" I told Grey nung nakarating kami sa cottage.

"I just wanted to surprise you" he smiled. Pero alam kong hindi totoo yung mga ngiting yun.

Hindi muna ako nagsalita... I just stared at him for a few seconds.

"I'm sorry" I said while still looking at him.

"Why are you sorry?" he asked kahit alam kong alam nya kung bakit ako humihingi ng sorry.

"It's not what you think Grey..." I said.

"Then can you please tell me kung bakit kayo magkasama since last night? The whole crew looked for the two of you for the whole night..." he said trying to sound okay, but I know that he's not.

"It was an accident" I said.

"What happened?"

"I went out of the bar... then suddenly may nambastos sakin. I don't know... 5-6 guys, I think? Then he came. He saved me from those guys. We were doing fine until maglabas na ng baril yung isang guy. And we don't have any choice but to run. But unluckily we fell. Then the next thing we knew... nandun na kami sa isang forest. We tried to go back, but dahil sprained si Daniel and sobrang dilim, we decided to stay instead. I'm sorry. I didnt have my phone with me kaya hindi ko rin natawag." I explained myself.

Wala naman syang reaction habang kinikwento ko.

After that, hindi padin sya nagsalita.

"Grey... sorry"

After that, he suddenly hugged me.

"No. I'm sorry. Sorry if I wasnt there nung kailngan mo." he said while hugging me.

"Grey.. Ano ka ba? Wala kang kasalanan" sabi ko.

"Basta... I'm sorry. I missed you" he said then looked at my eyes.

"I missed you too" I said.

DANIEL'S POV

I went to my room at naghubad na ng damit.

Humiga muna ko sa kama ko after kong alisin yung top ko.
