Vic, Júlia, Emily, and Amélia formed a circle around me, their curious and concerned looks seeking mine. I could sense the question in the air before it was even articulated. A faint smile formed on my lips as I faced the reality of the situation.

On the other hand, I'm completely terrified!"

Julia nodded, her sympathetic gaze conveying silent support. "I understand, but relax, we're all in this together. If you take a hit, we all do!"

I nodded, unable to deny the truth. "I guess it's normal to feel this nervousness. Facing someone at Paige's level is intimidating, especially for the first time. There's extra pressure to give my best and prove that I also belong at this level of competition."
