Third Person's POV

"I'll help you in. Follow me." Jungkook said and lead the way to the main door. Mingyu is literally dumbfounded, looking back and forth between Scoups and Dino who also as confused by the unexpected offer.

The two friends eventually asked to stay in the car since they don't want to later join Mingyu behind the bars from breaking into someone's house. At least not when his dad is a minister of defence of the South Korea (Scoups's dad), because he will not hesitate to crash his son's 206 bones before his mom can help.

Same to Dino.

It's strange that when he said he'll help, Mingyu thought he might help him sneak in but what Jungkook doing is the completely opposite. With hands in his pockets, he walk in very confidence as if it's his second home. Sometimes even without Jia and her father he would still come just to hangout with the workers.

Mingyu hates to trail behind him like a lost puppy but he left with no choice. That's the only option here if he wants to see his girl.

One of the maid bow and smiling brightly when she sees Jungkook. "Are you visiting miss Jia?"  She glance at the new face guy standing next to him then shortly she hesitates. "But she's not allow to go outside, unless you ask Mr Baek's permission first."

They know it should be fine if it's only Jungkook.

Jungkook smile back at her, "it's okay, I'm not going to take her anywhere. He just comes to brings her homework."  He motioned Mingyu to go up the marble giant staircase as he will play his role to distract her from following up.

"Wait you can't—

"When will uncle Baek back home?"  He cut her off so fast before she can stop Mingyu. She tried to follow him but Jungkook suddenly stands in her way.

"But he—

"Did you dye your hair brown?"  Jungkook tries to look amazed with the new colour even though he barely sees any changes.

Her eyes goes wide with his observation skills, she was so offended that no one seem to notice her hair but for the first time today she get asked about the questions she desperate to answer most. How come it not draw her fully attention? "Oh my god, you can see it?"

"Of course, you look so good in it."  Jungkook pulled her hand to talk in the living room which he purposely only want her to be away from the stairs where she can climb up anytime. "I want to dye too, what do you think?"

Their conversation continues as Mingyu can also hear their laughter up to the first floor. A part of him is nervous but a bigger part of him is jealous that Jungkook sounds to be so close with everyone in this household. The way their face light up seeing him, the way they joke around comfortably and the way it almost midnight but they didn't question his sudden appearance here means they already make it to the family level. Meanwhile, Mingyu himself is just a stranger, sometimes even in his own home that he doesn't feel like he belongs to.

He clear his thoughts and tiptoe carefully to the room that he believes is Jia's. The only room that have the back street view.

"Jia~~" he whispered through the door which he can faintly hear music playing and a voice humming along, from the inside. "Jia~ it's me, can you open the door?"

Immediately the music stop and everything become quiet, and it's when he knows she heard him. A hesitant light footsteps approaching the door slowly as it soon open to reveals Jia in her pink tiny silk nightgown and with her study glasses. She's studying.
