Third Person's POV

The high-rise building that caught on a massive fire has become a hot topic for people all over the country. BJ group has just hit a jackpot of the biggest project in the world of real estate in South Korea's history, and out of a sudden have their main building engulfed in flames has everyone invested with the incident that seem like a set up. What is even more suspicious to the netizens is that they still refuse to reveal the caused of the fire until now.

Some said it's a sign of a jinx and some said it has something to do with a political dispute. Neither of it is verified so out of curiosity, people comes up with their own assumption and theory that they think is best fitted to the situation.

"Could it be because they've upset someone powerful?" One of the girl asked her friend who is busy taking books out of the locker for their next class.

"That's a possibility. My dad said her father is a money hunger. I'm not surprised if someone really did that to revenge." the friend response carelessly, "that bitch is such a pick-me, I really hate her. She deserves it."

School feel more like a battle for Jia, everyday she has to learn adapting herself with their gazes and whispered. She used to be blunt by going up to them and smacked their mouth for trash-talking but when life keeps giving her one shit after another, she just let them be. She alone can't fight the whole school.

"Ahemm, excuse me." Mingyu tapped his finger gently on the girl's back, having Scoups and Jeonghan standing beside him with their arms cross. "Do you perhaps know those people you're speaking of? Because if not, please teach me how to yap so confidently."

His question has the girls dumbfounded. They were almost jumping from excitement 3 seconds ago seeing Mingyu this up close for the first time, not expecting the interaction to be so out of the place. Now they only wish they could teleport to another planet.

Jeonghan death stares them as if he's only one step away from pulling their hair out of the goddamn scalp. He added, "tell your dad to work harder before he shit-talk about someone else's business. Because I'll make sure I won't let it slide next time you denigrate my friend." The three then walk to their classroom, leaving the girls mouth slightly open from speechless and embarrassment to the other students around since it's in the hallway.

Being a tattletale he is, Jeonghan couldn't bother to put his backpack down first because as soon as he step in the door he runs straight to the backseat to tell the boys the dramatic scene earlier. He explained in details with his eyes roll thinking about those two, "moment like that makes me want to wear a wig and slap them right in the face." Mingyu and Scoups never laughed so loud in their lives before hearing Jeonghan's ridiculous plan as they know so well that his friend only tried to look calm and cool 5 minutes ago. But not anymore when it's only them.

Seungkwan tease, "you don't need a wig hyung, a wig needs you."  He barely finish his sentence when knuckles land on his head. It gets everyone cracked up.

"Enough bragging Jeonghan-ahh. Mingyu was the one approaching them, yet, he stays silent." Said Scoups.

Jeonghan immediately gives him side eyes. He didn't let Mingyu stand a chance to speak,  "As he should. Because after all he did, he should even go to war to make it up."  And before he can rants more, Jia is already in her seat.

She doesn't say a word but the boys immediately go to her table to check up on her since she didn't respond to any of their calls and messages about the incident. They're dead worry about her to the point where it's frustrating that she didn't care explaining.

"I thought you already dead."  Wonwoo scoffs but deep down he's only upset. "I don't understand Jia. How do you disappear like that, I thought we were close?"
