Apollyon couldn't help but be so proud of Izuku as the fight wrapped up. He had become a true weapons master, and showed proficiency far beyond himself. While he didn't kill his combatant... it was still promising. Two wolves rising high... oh, how the world was shaping up just the way she wanted it. Turning back to her forge, she got to work, creating These would latch directly onto the upper parts of his shoulder armor, in a way that wouldn't restrict his type of combat, but be signifying enough of who he was as a person. She had quite a bit of work to do... and so would ignore the rest of the contestants, at least until Izuku was back in the spotlight.

The next few matches went predictably, to Izuku annoyance. Class A tended to beat those outside the class, and the only outlier... was his next opponent. The matches were getting closer to the last, and now it was his time yet again. Stretching, he entered the arena. Even though he had won the trident Momo had made... and the buckler, he couldn't use them. Sure, he'd save them for his room, since it was a trophy of war... and a massive achievement. Nobody save Jirou, Momo, and of course himself would know that he had just beaten the first augmented human on public television. Just another achievement that wouldn't be recognized. Hopefully. If the public were to find out that she was a cyborg, and that she did so because of UA's ineptitude... well... that'd be terrible. Especially since it was Momo Yaoyorozu.

If they found out a quirkless boy defeated her in that quick bout? Well, that would take the cake. However, right now... he had to prepare to fight...

"ON ONE SIDE... WE HAVE MIDORIYA IZUKU, THE MAN WITH A PLAN, ABLE TO TAKE ON EVERYONE SO FAR! AND ON THE OTHER..." The voice paused, before introducing his blond opponent, "AND ON THE OTHER... NEITO MONOMA, THE MAN WHO COULD ADAPT TO ANYTHING..."

Looking over to him, Izuku took note of what he knew. He was arrogant. He was constantly trying to one up his class, even though they hadn't been competing for anything until this point. And he hadn't ever given a single hint of his quirk in all the time he had been bragging about Class B superiority. Well then... let's see what tricks he's got.

Midnight looked between the two contestants. "Are you ready?"

"Yes." Izuku stated, not having his eyes leave his enemy's form.

Monoma agreed as well, "Of course!"

"Ready... Set... GO!"

Izuku bolted towards the center, just wanting as much distance from the edge as possible. Without knowing his quirk, it was a gamble he didn't want to take. However, his eyes widened as he saw blades form in the boy's forearms, eager to draw blood. Quickly ducking under one swipe, he noticed that they seemed to have a way to break off, in case of injury. Can he heal himself over time? Are the blades replaceable? Ducking away, he waited for the next stab from his opponent... and he did with a frantic eagerness. Grabbing the arm, he grabbed the blade, and pulled. In a yell of pain, the bone tore out, and Izuku held onto it... safely. It was just like gripping Aurora. He'd have to be carefull. The blade was shorter, similar to a gladius, like the one he used in the second event. Twirling it, he looked over to Monoma, who grit his teeth... annoyed and in pain. Glaring at the green haired boy, he became incensed as Izuku smirked. He didn't want his blades being used against him, he should've retracted them. They seemed capable of doing so. His arrogance would make him fall.

Swiping at him with the new acquisition, Izuku forced him back, until he could put him in a position for a clear stab. Something he couldn't avoid, and something that might win him the game. However... it was then that it, somehow deflected off of him. Feeling the shock of the bone-like blade hitting metal, he immediately knew something wasn't right, and backed off. Leaping back, he now saw his opponent had changed yet again. He had both blades, and looked to be made of metal. Steel, if the shine and look of the metal was anything to indicate. Narrowing his eyes... he hadn't seen this quirk before. Now that he thought about it, he had been able to defeat his enemies even with his lackluster quirk use... and now he pulled a second quirk out... That was when he realized, with slightly wider eyes than normal. Oh. That's what you have. But... no quirk is perfect. If you can replicate these with accuracy... then there has to be a downside. If it's not a direct limit... it must be something else. I can't hurt him while he has that... but maybe I'll be able to get a stronger weapon. Grinning, to Monoma's continued annoyance, he ducked and dipped between the now metal blades, looking for another opening, all while holding onto the blade to parry. Allowing the boy to get close, he sidestepped a swing to his right, before gripping the blade with both arms, receiving the second attack on the flat of the makeshift blade, before shoving it away. This knocked him off his feet. Dropping the bone blade, weakened as it was, he immediately grappled his left arm, gripping the blade before using the same leverage to rip it out of him completely. Crying in pain, Monoma stumbled back further from the force. He was about to strike again, when the other arm's blade retracted back into his arm. That's it! Glancing up at the Jumbotron, Izuku noted the time. 1:43... three minutes after my fight was scheduled to start. Grinning at the other boy, he now knew the limits of his quirk. Three minutes. The blade quirk is gone. The metal quirk will follow in 45 seconds... and I still have the metal blade, because I ripped it out of him. Excellent.
