Izuku watched the first event go through, and watched every member. Frowning, he made a realization. Why am I looking through the year 3s for this? People need time to adjust to sudden power... especially as strong as Allmight. The boy had experience in the field. Last he recalled, the boy barely made the cut for the Year 2 festival... now he was absolutely stomping this one. The First obstacles... a maze, was a clear breeze, considering he didn't have to really navigate it. He could just walk right through. It was also clear that his gym uniform was created in such a way that he could use it without his quirk losing it. DNA outfit? That could be used to help Hagakure's hero outfit. Maybe even help with the creation of armor for her... Resuming focus back onto the event itself, he watched as the others went through it as well. It was definitely not easy, but they were still strong enough to make it through on a good time. The pit was soon after, and this took a bit much for his quirk alone. Still, he made his way. It was definitely promising, considering where he came from last year, but... he had to be impartial.
However, the second of the renowned Big 3 made it out of the maze, and simply flew over the pit with her power. Spirals of energy propelling her forward, which did show off some adaptability. Something that both students had in spades, still, after the gap, the race became close, as one could fly, and the other swim through the earth...
And in the end, Mirio won. He got first, and cheered for every one of his fellow year 3s. If anything, he has the spirit for a true hero... and it made him seriously consider the boy...
As the blond boy cheered, Tomura Shigaraki was currently focused on the knife currently digging into his palm. As it turned out, Apollyon was correct, yet again. Stain was not in agreement with his ideals. Hjordis currently watched, having had a decent amount of liquor from the bar, but somehow still not completely drunk... and Shoto watched dispassionately from the bar. He had no stake in this, and the hero killer knew it.
"All I see from you so far..." The noseless man stated, putting it in deeper, so that way the silver hair boy couldn't move his hand. He had immediately identified his quirk as soon as he saw it, and took the largest threat down first, before paralyzing Kurogiri, the only loyal minion he had left. "...is a petty child lacking conviction. You seek to tear down everything, with nothing else past that..." However, he stopped, noting that the young man was actually pushing him back. Gripping the knife, it was immediately dropped, as Shigaraki's eyes scoured the man. If his power was vision based, there would be nothing left of the killer.
"All I hear is conviction this, conviction that. You have nothing besides that word. I have freed myself from my old sensei, Apollyon respects me..."
That last part incensed the man even further. "The killer of peace... I see." Finally taking stock of the knight and the viking, he realized that he was in a den of snakes, one that the self proclaimed "Demon of War" created. Standing tall with confidence, he stated, "Even though our goals are aligned for now... if you do not change in an acceptable manner... I will kill you."
"Why not do it now?" Tomura goaded, grinning to him, as the others stood up, tensing. They were now involved, since she was. And they both knew he couldn't win against them all. Unlike heroes, these two knew how to fight people like him.
With a "Tsk," he then told him, "No. You can still grow. It is easier to tell when one is closer to death." Bullshit. He made himself clear since the start, and the hero killer knew that. "Take me back to Hosu to continue my work."
With little reason to refuse, Tomura nodded, and Kurogiri made a portal. He left through it, glancing back between them, getting their measure... before departing.
