New Teachers

Izuku, despite his current mood, was actually looking forward to today's lessons. Two new teachers isn't nothing, after all, and they'd already met the new Heroics one. Lawbringer. Cursory research indicated he was quite adept at his job, and already making waves here in Japan... although there were already detractors. He knew there were differences between European heroics and Japanese. The far more brutal nature of the villains out there had a proportional response. He had an impressive record, but also was extremely personable. Even without a uberquirk like One for All, he was considered on par with Allmight in terms of personality. The only thing that really held him back from being number one was his theme. Knights were cool, but in Italy, the resurgence of the old Roman styles meant that he wouldn't be as popular as Centurii, the Italian Amazon with a Roman aesthetic. After seeing her, the greenette couldn't help but imagine Reiko... no, she wouldn't ever wear something like that armor, Emily wearing that. That did keep him up quite a bit, which may or may not be the reason he was so... irritable at the meeting this morning. Does he regret punching Nighteye in the face? Not at all. Should he have done that in front of a police officer? Hell no.

Not like he would say anything. He'd have to admit the reason for it, and that would put him in a massive crosshair by villains who already hated him for being a hero. Finding out about a transferable power, Allmights? Unthinkable.

Entering the classroom, the two took their seats. Izuku carefully placed Aurora across his lap, and pulled out a whetstone. Carefully, he scraped it against the edge, honing it in and getting rid of any dents, if there were any. Not that there were any. However it was forged, it was certainly sturdy and completely unblemished. It was also soothing to care for it. His classmates, at the start, thought him strange to carry it everywhere, but it was a way for him to remember Erika, and it was a way to connect back to her. It caused no harm, and showed that he was here, in a way. The bell rang, and he put away the stone, instead pulling out a rag to finish the care. If he didn't, the blade might deteriorate and fail... and that was something he absolutely didn't want to have happen.

Jiro turned her attention to the door, and it was soon clear why. Two sets of footsteps, one heavy and armored, presumably Lawbringer himself. But there was also another pair. Lighter, smaller... and then the door opened.

Two individuals walked in. The first was the man they met at the end of the Sports Festival, while the second... was a woman with blue skin, and a very... open hero uniform. Racking his mind, he realized, "Wait... are you Bubble Girl?"

"Oh? You know me?" She smiled warmly, before introducing herself, "Yes, I am! You can call me that, or Sensei Awata. I'm your new Homeroom teacher, and Assistant teacher for Lawbringer here." The fact that she was involved with heroics meant that she was already leagues above.

"Ok..." Izuku asked, interrupting Lawbringer's introduction before it could occur: "What are you doing here, weren't you working with Nighteye?"

"Yes... well..." It was clear that the topic change was very uncomfortable. She looked outside a moment, before stating, "I decided to get a change of scenery! And help out my old school in the process!" The cheery attitude certainly was infectious. Mina in particular was perking up due to it, so she was already better than the last.

"And I... Lawbringer, or Blackthorne... eh... sensei." It was clear his japanese was not up to par. "I work with Awata... because Japanese is..." he did a so-so gesture with his hand, stating the obvious. Putting his right hand over his chest, pounding where his heart would be, he stated, "Still, I heroics teacher. Hope to be good teacher."

With introductions out of the way, Awata went through the pertinent announcements, "Well, first thing's first, you guys did spectacularly at the Sports Festival. Due to that, many of you received quite a few internship offerings... here they are!"
