Chitoise Kizuki was stunned into silence. She had just finished watching the sports festival... hell, they all would have seen the absolute mess that they had just seen. A null winning the sports festival, overcoming the odds? He should've failed at step one! Meanwhile... she could tell there was a story to be had. However, before anything else could be said... Her phone rang. Not her mobile, but the red one on her desk. It only had one caller.
Re-Destro. Otherwise known as her boss: Riyika Yotsubashi.
He already started taking steps to dealing with the null... but now? Now he'd be wanting, expecting her help. With one of their best benefactors in the ground in a surprising turn of events, things were definitely getting dicey. Sure, this new villain, Apollyon, killing Allmight was a blessing for the cause, but there was already a copycat... and more . Picking up the phone, she waited to hear his voice. "Meeting at our headquarters in an hour."
"Understood, Supreme Commander."
With all that... cohesion in the Meta Liberation army was needed more than ever. Grabbing her things, she told her secretary on the path out, "Clear my schedule for today! I have an important meeting!"
"Yes, Miss Kizuki."
Apollyon arrived at the Laughing Demon. For one, to check in on her previous project, and on another... to check in on her squire. Kurogiri opened the door for her, and she didn't pay him any mind. After all... he wasn't human. Not anymore. The signs were obvious. The inhuman loyalty... and the fact they had Nomu at the USJ. That thing wasn't living... and neither was he. Still, she focused on the people that matter. The living.
Entering the bar proper, she found two individuals waiting within. The silver hair of the demon-raised wolf, and her own squire.
"So, I hear that you killed the sheep leading the Hero Public Safety Commission." Walking confidently to him, her good spirits was quick to discern. Even with her armor on.
Shoto lowered his head, taking in the praise silently. She continued, "And you even challenged Endeavour directly. Good steps. You are so very close to being truly free. That is why you will stay and assist Tomura." Watching them glance between each other, she noted their confusion. "You two seem to work well together. Plan your next opportunity."
"I plan to reach out to the hero killer." Tomura stated, asking silently for advice.
Understanding the question, she shrugged, "Sure... it could be useful to find him... but do not be fooled by appearances." Pausing, she looked over the two of them. "Is there anything else I should know before I leave?"
"Well, we got a new pawn... courtesy of you, actually." Tomura stated, peaking her interest.
"Really?" She knew news travelled fast, but didn't expect that to happen so quickly.
"Giran pulled through. Brought over a tough scandinavian."
Mildly curious, she asked, "What's their name?"
Tomura didn't particularly care... as long as she gave results, why should he? "Her name... what was it, Kurogiri?"
"Hjordis Ragnarsdottir..."
Now that caused her to freeze, turning back to the sentient Nomu. "Ragnarsdottir?"
"You know that name?" That was news to them.
"I..." She paused, collecting her thoughts. That's right, they wouldn't understand naming conventions, especially not ancient Norse ones. "I knew a Ragnar long ago... a fearsome warrior, a wolf similar to you two... it seems he had a daughter... but for now, I do not need to see her. I watched the video of Yoroi Musha's demise." She checked the time, before sitting down and asking, "What do you know of those who use the term... null?"
