Izuku honestly didn't do anything but relax with Reiko on the following day. She arrived in the morning, and together they wandered Mustafu. It was peaceful... until someone recognized him. A crowd soon formed, and two had to hide, making their way back to Midoriya's house. Reiko had it easy, able to hide behind Emily, who laughed at Izuku's misfortune after they managed to slip away.
"Seriously, you should expect that after your stunts at the Festival!"
"Yeah, you have a point." He tsked. While her words stung slightly, it was clear that they had no bite to them. She was a tsundere, if anything. Similar to Jiro but even more so.
"Of course I do. I'm right about most things."
With a grin, Izuku challenged her, "Except me?"
Looking away, she didn't answer. The silence was enough. Still, he'd take the win. "C'mon, it's getting late. Mom'll be waiting."
Smiling, the spectral girl nodded, "Lead on."
The last block was peaceful. The trees, the few of them here, swayed in the wind. The leaves were, at this point, beginning to turn, their colors fading from verdant to a vibrant amber. Taking in the view, he stated, "Do you hear everything I say around Reiko?"
Looking at a different tree, her head dipped slightly. The glowing pink eyes wandered over the familiar path. A whisper escaped her lips, to the affirmative. "Yes..."
"You know, you may be the second sentient quirk I've met... but you're certainly more interesting."
"Yeah, right..." She muttered, trying to see some intent behind the flattery.
He shook his head, "No, it's true. No other sentient quirk has such a vibrant personality. Dark Shadow is created by the other half of his emotions, but you are your own person. You have your own desires, beliefs, and completely separate thoughts. It's incredible, but it makes me wonder why." He gripped her hand, an action not missed by her.
Blushing, she glared at him, but it lessened over time. "I don't know. To be honest, I've been with sister all my life. It was a private secret, my intelligence..."
"Your parents don't know?" Incredulity crept into his voice.
"No. They don't." It was at that point that they arrived, and Izuku opened the door for them.
Getting inside, Inko looked between the two of them, and noticed how roughed up they looked, before coming to a conclusion. "Had fun out there?"
"The masses were annoying." Izuku stated, taking off his light jacket and hanging it near the door.
"Oh, is that what you call them these days?"
It was then that they both realized what she was referring to, and their faces reddened even more. Indignant, Izuku called out, "Mom!"
"Hey, I'm looking forward to grandchildren... but have some restraint."
"That's not... look, I got recognized by the public, and some wanted a piece of me." He corrected.
"Are you alright?!" Inko moved over to check on him.
"I'm fine..."
"Hm... you seem to be... Reiko are..." It was then that she noticed the glowing eyes, and the rather different intelligence behind them. "You're not Reiko, are you?"
"Ah... no... I'm Emily. Her quirk, so to say... but, I'll leave. It was good to finally say hello, Mrs. Midoriya..."
Feeling as if she hurt the sentient quirk... Inko's expression turned mournful, as the glow left her eyes. With Reiko back in the driver's seat, she blinked, and saw what was going on. "Oh, we're back. Hello Inko."
