Addison's pov
I woke up to the sound of clattering pans and lovely smells. I breathed in the sent of fresh cooked bacon.
Saturdays are the best I swear. Emily and dad are in an okay mood and well my siblings are another story.
I walked downstairs and sat at the table.
Emily saw me and smiled.
"Your always the early bird huh", she said .
"I guess", I said.
Dad walked in with pajama pants and no shirt. (a/n : holy fudge just imagine that)
"Hey babe", she said kissing Emily's cheek.
"Little babe", he said kissing my cheek.
"Cameron can you wake CJ up he has a game soon", Emily said. Is she serious. When they ground me I don't get to do anything at all and CJ gets to do football.
"Emily I took that away he's not going", dad said. As if on cue CJ comes downstairs still looking irritated from days before.
"What wrong with you", I joked.
He rolled his eyes at me.
"Mom can I go to Jacob's house tonight", CJ asked.
"No", dad answered.
"MOM can I go to Jacob's house", CJ said putting emphasis on mom.
"No", she said
"Oh my god you guys won't let me do anything", he groaned.
"Your grounded what did you expect", I said.
"Shut up I'm not like you mom and dad actually like me", he said.
I ran upstairs and slammed my door. He's a bitch I was just messing around and he has to say something like that.
I started to cry into my pillow pet and sniffle.
I heard a knock on my door.
I ignored it. The door then opened and dad was standing there with a guilty look on his face.
He came and sat on my bed.
"Addie I love you so much", he said kissing my once.
"You know that and CJ well he didn't mean it he's just a big brother he's supposed to be mean", he said.
"So you let him off the hook", I said in disgust.
"No", he said.
"He's quitting football for the rest of the season", dad said.
"Oh", was all I could say.
"Addie you know you can call Emily mom if you want you don't have to be afraid", he said
"I'm not afraid to call her mom"
"Then what is it"
"I'm afraid to give my trust to someone else", I said
"What do you mean"
"That my trust its well I trusted every single girl friend of yours and they're all horrible", I said
"Yeah", he agreed.
"Emily is different though don't you think", he said
"I guess", I said
"Good", he said walking out but giving me a hug first.
I walked back downstairs and saw CJ. I got so mad looking at him I swear the moment I took a step on the last step you could see fire coming out my ears.
"I'm sorry Addison", he said.
I ignored him.
He apologized seven more times before giving up.
"What ever be mad I don't care", he said
"You don't think I have a right to be mad", I said turning red
"No I said sorry"
"Who made you say sorry", I said rolling my eyes.
"Nobody", he said
"Okay sure", I said getting up.
I went back upstairs but when I passed Emily and dads room I heard muffled yelling.
I shrugged it off and kept moving. I went in my room and saw Kate in my room. I didn't care though I let her keep doing what she was and laid back down.
Emily's pov
"Emily why can't you ever just stick to the punishments I give the kids", Cameron said to me angry because I was going to let CJ go to a football game he played in.
"Because if we pay for it then they should be in it", I argued
"Your being annoying", he said
"Your being a bitch", I said. I don't call Cameron a bitch seriously very often so today it was quite the extra step
"Maybe you the reason why CJ thinks it's okay to talk to me the way he did is because you do", I said getting angrier.
"No it isnt", he yelled at me.
"Yes it is", I said keeping my tone.
"Emily your its to God damn soft", he yelled.
"Stop yelling Cameron" I said.
"I'll do what I want", he said
"There you go again treating me like I'm under you" , I said tearing up. I was never great at being tough during arguments.
"Emily I'm sorry", he said.
I nodded my head in disbelief.
"I'm going to leave for a little while", I said grabbing my phone.
I was just going for a run. I hadn't in a while.
Addison's pov
The door opened it and dad ran over to Emily and attacked her with kisses.
"Cameron get off", she said.
"I thought you left me", he said in her shoulder.
"I didn't", she said.
"I'm so happy right now", dad said sniffling. He'd been crying.
"Guys we've had a lot of drama lately so how about we go out for pizza", Emily said.
We all agreed and hopped in the car.
Who knows what could happen on the trip there.
