Addisons pov

ADDISON IS 12 😊. (sorry for skipping years just I couldn't do anything else really)

"I wonder what your dads gonna say", Sophia said eating a grape as we sat on the side walk waiting for the bus.

"He's not gonna say anything", I said eating one too.

"You think your dad out of all people won't find out", she laughed.

"We're not even dating I mean I never got the point of middle school relationships because they all end when school ends or earlier", I laughed.

"Yeah but you like him", she smirked.

"I do", I blushed. We were talking about a boy. Of course. His name is name is Colby.

"One day he's gonna talk to you and your gonna crash and burn I swear", she laughed just when the bus came up. We grabbed our bags and got in.

Once we got there I saw him. Our lockers were right beside each other. CJ doesn't want me to like him.

He's kinda like that protective brother of you can't tell.

Tessa walked by me doing the cliche brush her shoulder over mine knocking me over. I dropped my books. I went to pick them up I looked up hoping he would see me and help but he didn't he just left.

I was kinda bummed.

Her and her stupid friends laughed but my face was straight.

I rolled my eyes.

"Is that the best you got", I said walking to science.

I heard everyone in the hallway say "oooohhhhhh" like I just made fun of her or something. I just made her feel like what she does doesn't affect me.

"Look Addison you can't keep doing that", a familiar voice said walking behind me. I stopped an turned around on my heels.

Hayes.

I rolled my eyes.

"Don't you wanna suck your girlfriends face off like you always do", I said coldly.

"I mean defending her is cool too I guess it's okay for HER to bully your first friend but that's fine", I said getting light headed.

Tessa and him were "dating" and I swear I only ever walk in on them kissing. Every time I see it I just get so upset.

Flashback:

I went into Hayes' room to go wake him up. I crawled on his bed silently and payed next to him. I slowly stood up on his bed and I counted to three in my head. I pounced on his back and he sprung up causing me to fall on my face but on his bed.

"What the heck Addison", Hayes said.

"Sorry not sorry", I said starting to jump on his bed. He took his hand and karate chopped my leg making me fall.

"Ow", I said rubbing my leg.

"Sorry not sorry", he mimicked. I rolled my eyes and got up.

"Cmon get up we are going to the mall", I screamed.

"Wait Addison come here", he said.

"What", I said walking back to Hayes.

"Closer", he said.

"Uh okay", I said. Our faces were inches apart.

"Never do that again", he screamed in my ear and hitting me in the back of my head. So I pushed him on the ground. I pinned him to the ground with his back facing up. I straddled him from the back and took his hair picked it up with my hands and slammed it on the ground.

"Ow", he screamed.

"Never do that again", I mimicked emphasizing that and walking out the door.

Flashback over:

I closed my eyes. What happened it's like we were just I don't know.

"Bye Hayes", I said running into the bathroom.

God danmit why can't he just love me again. Why can't it be like it used to. Why can't Tessa go away and stop ruining things for me.

Ugh.

I got myself together and walked out.

Hayes was standing outside the ladies restroom.

"Are you okay", he asked putting his hand on my shoulder.

"I'm fine", I said jerking my shoulder to the right so that his hand would fall off.

"Addison why do you hate me so much", he asked.

"Hayes I'm going to class", I said.

"No your not", he said grabbing my hand.

"Hayes please", I said tearing up.

He pulled me around a corner. Hayes well we know how old he is. He's actually a little younger than CJ he's about to turn 14. Still an 8th grader though. (AN/: I know Hayes isn't 13 or 14 but just pretend)

"Why do you hate me," he said.

"I don't", I said kinda lying.

"Yes you do I know your lying I know you",he said. Oh please, I thought.

"Are you sure", I said kinda cocky.

"Yes you always look around and play with that ring", he said.

"Oh", I said looking down.

"Why Addison", he said.

"Because you hated me first", I said looking at the clock. Five minutes late right now. Ugh.

"Hayes were late to class", I said.

"I do not hate you", he said ignoring me.

"Yeah you did you never talked me you ignored me and you know what hurt the most", I said starting to cry. Not actually cry cry but tears going down. He stood there waiting for me
To say it.

"Tessa called me trash and poured her freaking lunch over my head you know what I saw when it happened you were laughing with your friends laughing at me then you went up to her and kissed her like you always do", I said.

"Addison I was j-"

"Bye Hayes", I said walking away.

It's like I totally forgot about Colby he doesn't even matter to me anymore it's like Hayes makes my brain rattle.

I get in class and Tessa flared at me.

"Ms.Dallas where were you", my science teacher asked.

"I got held up", I said wiping my tears.

"Is everything alright", she asked.

"Of course", I said sitting down.

Sophia sat in the other side of me.

She lipped to me 'what happened'. I gave her the in a minute look and looked back to the board.

7th grade math is easy I swear. But algebra is not. I promise you being advanced in math sucks.

after school

I got home to see Kate sitting at he table sowing homework and Emily sitting on the couch clutching the pillow as she watched PLL.

I walked in set my stuff down and laid on the couch.

The last thought on my mind before I fell asleep.
