Addison's pov

I woke up for school and got out my bed. We had moved into a different house recently so me and Kate share a room for now. I looked in the bed across from me but Kate wasn't in it. She was probably in my dad and Emily's room because she gets nightmares.

I had taken a shower the night before so I didn't worry about taking one again. I put my hair in a pony tail and threw on some cargo pants a white and black striped shirt, a brown leather jacket and brown combat boots.

I went down stairs after throwing my jansport book bag on my shoulder.

CJ was still on punishment and Emily and dad keep saying that I'm close to it. Kate barely gets in trouble when I was her age my dad was always on my ass to be honest.

Kate does things to she freaking threw Emily's phone in the trash and Emily went on a rampage yelling at CJ and I when Kate threw it in the trash in the first place. Then Emily just said it was a mistake.

I love Emily but we clash heads sometimes. I mean she is like my mom but we all know why I don't call her mom yet. My trust issues.

I roll my eyes at her when she is being unreasonable just like I do my dad.

I sat at the table with Emily,Kate and dad to eat breakfast.

I got out the frosted flakes and Kate started whining about how she didn't want corn pops anymore. It was probably just because I had them meaning she just had to have them.

"Kate you don't need another cereal", dad said annoyed he must be in a mood I'll just leave him alone then.

After a while Emily put Kate in time out while I sat and ate my cereal.

"Do you have your homework done Addison", dad asked.

"Yes", I said looking at him.

He rubbed his eyes and stood up.

"CJ get downstairs your bus is going to be here any second", dad yelled. A couple seconds later I heard CJ come downstairs.

CJ always wanted to be mean to me for some reason in front of his friends but was a little nice to me at home.

"Okay bye you guys have a good day", Emily said to us and kissed me and CJ goodbye.

Kate went to the same kindergarten Emily did which wasn't the school CJ and I were at.

I got on the bus and Sophia wasn't there today so I sat alone. I guess she missed the bus.

I asked CJ if he would sit by me but he of course denied in front of his friends.

When we got to school I saw Sophia in the cafeteria.

"Hay Soph", I said sitting next to her.

"Hay", she said her voice sad.

"What's wrong", I asked.

"Eh I don't feel well and my mom has been soaking her problems in alcohol so she hasn't payed much attention to me", she said. I have her a hug.

"It's gonna be fine Soph she's just love sick but in a bad way", I said looking at my hands.

"Yeah love sick", she said with a sigh.

"You wanna go to the classroom", I said. She nodded.

"Oh wait Sophia I have to get my lunch from CJ I'll be back", I said.
