90.Vegetarian

Dad and I still aren't in he best terms but I mean we have to kinda speak to eachother once in a while.

I was woken up by CJ shaking me.

I looked up at him irritated, he ruined my sleep. He smiled at me, one of his cheesy grins actually.

"Cmon shawwwdyy I've got a game today", he said referring to base ball.

It was a Saturday too and I was up at 8 o'clock.

I groaned then got out of bed. Rubbing my eyes I picked out an outfit to wear to the field.

I picked out cargo Capri leggings, a white flowing shirt, and white low converse.

I brushed my teeth and my hair.

I braided my hair in two braids like , not French braids, I'm not good at those. Kinda pippi longsockingish except much more tamed and much longer.

I let the front short prices of my hair do what they wanted and walked downstairs.

Kate had on pink sketchers and pink jeans and a purple shirt. Her hair looked like she did her ponytail herself today. But I won't judge because in the second grade if dad allowed me to pick my outfit is probably choose the same thing.

Sage's outfit was very cute. She had high waisted jeans and a yellow and beige lace shirt. Her sandals were beautiful crystals.

She game me a smaller as I walked in the kitchen. My dad looked at me and turned his head after. I did the same.

After a while I stopped caring about his opinion on me, especially since I'm much younger than him and he's acting like a child along with his own child.

"Addie today can we go on the playground ", kate asked.

Since I got the whole 'period' my stomach feels really queasy. I wasn't really feeling well enough to chase her around.

"Kate I would I really would but my stomach realllyyyy hurts", I said to her.

"Okay", she said leaving it alone.

She went to ask my dad.

"Sure I will baby your my number one", he said kissing her hair then looking at me.

If I had magical fire powers or something I'm sure you'd see the fire in my eyes.

I Tried to calmly leave the kitchen but I think everyone could tell I was bothered. Tears brimmed to my eyes, I was not sad but I was mad like angry tears.

We got in the car and it was silent. It felt like my fast loud breathing was the music in the car. It was full of shaky uneasy breaths.

It's like I was Peeta Mellark, being hijacked, then having flashbacks when it was all better.

All I kept seeing was him kissing her hair then him kissing my hair then me seeing my mom then him yelling at me and giving me heart shattering dirty looks.

I took one last deep breath and my eyes closed tight.

I opened them and it's like a pool had overflown.

I slight cry escaped my lips, I sit in the very back of the car because it just makes me feel better.

CJ's headphones were on and Sage was driving. Kate was on her leap pad so they weren't really paying attention but dad was.

He looked back at me I looked to the window quickly pretending to wipe my eye.

I licked my lips and tried to think happily as I went to sleep.

Once we arrived I say in the metal bleachers and let my feet swing.

Every now and then I would clap for CJ. His friend from school was beside us. We kept a small conversation but my eyes were a little puffed so I didn't make much eye contact.

After the game we went to go eat.

It was a farm based restaurant. You got to see animals like amino zoo before eating.

I saw a horse taller than I was.

I stood on my tippy toes trying to pet it.

It rubbed it's head against my hand.

I heard my dad call CJ and Kate over to take a picture but it was better to keep my mind occupied so that I wouldn't have to get offended or anything.

I saw two chickens chasing eachother and a three cows having a nap side by side. I pulled my phone out and took pictures of them all.

It wasn't until I saw a baby pig in the corner with two Bulls. Poor thing why was he all alone where were the rest of the big pigs, why weren't they there to protect him.

His little snout twitched as he looked up at the pulls. They were getting to close to it. So I whistled extremely loud. They  turned their heads to me.

I held my hand up and walked to the very corner of their fence. They followed and were very far from the poor pig.

The piglet trotted over to me and oinked.

I laughed a little.

"It's okay buddy I know what it's liked to get abandoned, I mean it's happened to me what feels like twice now", I smiled petting it.

I secret picked it up and ran over to the empty spot where it looks like they store cardboard and put him in there. I had some dried banana chips in my pocket so I fed them to it then waved goodbye when I saw sage leave the area.

We washed our hands then was seated.

After looking at the menu I wondered what they did with those animals afterwards. I hoped they didn't kill them.

When the woman came to get our orders I asked her.

She smiled lightly.

"Uh yes I suppose we do use them but it is a good cause we have to make money", she said.

"Yeah but there animals", I said.

"Yeah", she shrugged.

"I'm not really hungry anymore", I said closing the menu.

"Addison you need to eat", dad said looking stern at me.

"I don't want to eat something I just met",I said.

"We've go vegetarian meals", she said.

"Um sure lets go with that", I said remembering the little pig.

Dad gave me the look but I ignored.

She came back with a salad, rice, and corn.

I have her a small forgiving smirk. She just stayed the same faced. Bitch.

"So what are you now vegetarian", dad scoffed/mocked.

I ignored him and kept eating.

Sage hit him telling him to 'stop' but I don't care.
