Addison

I had school again today and I knew today I should talk to Jackson. So when I saw him I got myself together and went up to him.

"Jackson can we talk", I asked.

"Yeah what's up", he asked.

"Um well my dad he uh", I stammered.

"What", he said getting irritated.

"Are you in a rush I can leave", I said.

"Can you just tell me", he urged.

The threw me off.

"Um well my dad doesn't want us together basically", I said looking at him uneasy.

"So", he said.

What the hell was wrong with him today.

"Why are you being so I don't know not you", I said.

"What are you trying to say Addison", he said,

"I made it pretty flat out blunt", I said.

"Whatever I have class", he said brushing against my shoulder.

I let out a sigh. I saw him walk up to the football players. His "new" friends. He pointed at me and they all looked at me. It bothered me but I didn't let it show. I just walked away to find Sophia.

"So he just acted like he didn't care", she asked.

"I just acted like I didn't care", I said.

"Wow so is that why he's all over Olivia today", she said pointing to a girl with ombré black to light brown hair. It wasn't even real ombré it was a straight line that went from one color to the next.

"I thought she said she didn't like him since I said I had dibs", I said emphasizing I.

I guess I was staring to long because he saw me. I gave him a look then turned around.

"What did I do", I said putting my head in my arms.

"Don't worry we're in middle school these relationships never last anyways", Sophia said.

"Easy for you to say your still buddy buddy with jacksons friend", I said,

"What he's a nice guy", she said innocently biting a fry.

"Ugh", I said.

(Science)

Jackson is in my class for this but he seemed much more occupied in Olivia Gilder. He was talking to her all class he acted like I didn't exist.

The teacher walked in saying she was late due to the hallway delay from lunch.

"Good afternoon class I'd like to propose a project we have to hop right in today", she said opening her binder.

She was a nice lady. She was in her late twenties. Her hair was colored a perfect mint green she had a niece that is now her daughter due to custody issues in her family. She  is very pale and turns very red when she is flustered. She always has a watch to match her outfit. She's one of my favorite teachers.
