Addison's pov

After two nights ago I've been extremely cautious of what I say to dad that might make him wanna... Well you know.

Emily has really been busting my butt lately and it is quite annoying. I try to respect her as much as I can but its sometimes hard to. I love her so much but she's really been bothering me lately.

Christmas is right around the corner so I don't wanna screw up so much that I get nothing for Christmas.

Kate fell asleep on the floor playing with her barbies so about thirty minutes ago I laid a blanket across her miniature body.

I got on my laptop and watched some Hulu plus then fell asleep on a gloomy Wednesday afternoon in Southern California.

I walked downstairs and saw my dad once I had woken up. I rubbed my eyes then waved at him.

Nobody knew about the one thing that happened awhile back.

I decided to make some tea for the tea party Kate and I were going to have later.

"What are you doing Addison", dad asked.

"I need the tea kettle stat I can't let Katherine Dallas the princess of 42 Denville dr. Waiting", I said as I put a large bowl of water in the microwave.

"Well isn't that lovely but I need your little money feet to get of my counters", he said basically telling me to move.

Once the tea was done and so were the snacks I went back up to my room where Kate was sitting on a blanket with two plates and then a teacup on a plate in front of her.

"Okay let's do this thing", I said as the tea party begun.

It was all fun and games until CJ came into our room and crashed it by eating my food and walking out. I was currently in my bed eating a plum and reading. Perks of being a wallflower. Well I'm not really reading it I'm just skim mining through some stuff

I went downstairs to throw my plum away when Emily asked me if I was tiered. I shook my head no.

"Then that's perfect me you and CJ are going Christmas shopping we aren't gonna bring Kate because she Kate keep a surprise", Emily said. I giggled a little.

Kate went to G-ma Gina's house while we went out.

"I love you little one see you when we get back", I said waving goodbye.

Once we got to target I saw the devil herself.

I rolled my eyes and walked back to the cart.

"Play isn't that your friend Tessa", CJ asked. I gave him a glare and rolled my eyes.

"No idiot she's the girl that caused me to get my ass beat", I said in a low voice.

She looked me up and down before talking to CJ.

"Hi Cam", she said.

"Hi Tessa", he said uninterested.

"Ready for the big game", she said trying to flirt.

"What big game", he said.

"Like football I guess", she said.

"Um o. Kayyyy", he said slowly.

"I'm soo tiered CJ lets find mom and dad", I said faking an ache for home.

"Okay Tessa bye", he said rapidly running away as I slugged behind playing the part I wanted Tessa to be while also being lazy.

"Oh please babe I know your not tiered with all those weights you lift I couldn't imagine you even losing an ounce of energy", she said batting her eyelashes.

I rolled my eyes and yanked CJ with me to the toddler section because Emily and dad are looking for gifts for Kate.

I could feel the sense of someone following me so I turned back around to see Tessa behind us.

"What do you want Tessa", I said angrily.

"trust me I don't want anything from you but I do want something from CJ", she winked.

"Oh please what could you possibly want from CJ he doesn't even like you", I said.

"Yeah I cannot like Isabella", he said making a 😬 face.

"What don't I have that Isabella has", she argued.

"Plenty", we said at the same time.

"Just because you think Isabella likes you doesn't mean you have to like her back she's not even that pretty and really why would you want to date someone who is at least six months younger than you CJ when you can have me I'm legit a year or maybe two years younger", she said batting her eyelashes at him flipping her ombre hair

"I don't like Isabella, she's cool but I don't like her", CJ said but I knew he was lying.

"Well Tessa it was nice seeing you out here I guess but we have to go bye-bye now"

She scoffed and turned around.

"I can't believe your teacher not let you switch seats", he giggled. CJ was one of those boys that just had good looks at a young age kinda like Hayes. I missed him so much. I remember when we were younger and he used to slip up and say I looked good in clothes and stuff.

There is no need to think about dating anyways because I well one my dad nor Emily would let me and two I'm too young three Hayes well he just changed. Changed for better or worse. I'm not sure.

I still think about him. All the time actually. He used to be the sun to my world. Now. Well I guess we drifted. Best friends to now basically strangers. He's not the same. I never really thought about this till now really. We don't talk enough to know a lot he's just. Ugh.
