Rei had showed him around the house to the rooms that she had mentioned in her journal, she then showed him her old bed room that still had her old things in it. The only thing that was missing was her bed which made him confused as he looked at her. "So where did your bed go?"

"What bed?" Rei asked curiously "You did read all of my journal right?"

"I believe so...but you wrote nothing about what your living conditions you had to deal with."

"Yes I did, it was the first entry."

Masato averted his eyes as he let out a sigh "I didn't read those pages they were taped."

"Oh...shit I forgot I did that. Well guess I can tell you." She said before she went into the room turning the light on. "My brothers as you know treated me like crap, after my mother had chosen to stop taking care of my brothers leaving me to be the one to literally raise my elder and younger siblings they chose to take my bed out of this room. Akio said that it was because he didn't think that I earned and deserved it. I was to sleep on the floor like the worthless person I was to them." She said with a sigh as she opened the window and pulled the blinds to the side

"It must have been a rather harsh shock to know that your brothers would treat you so badly." Masato said sadly

"It was until I was thirteen, then that's when I chose just to accept my fate. For three years I ended up dealing with constantly going on and off being pregnant and losing the child not long after. Dealing with that type of stuff...it has mentally messed me up so badly." She said sadly

"I can only imagine, did you leave anything in here that you would want to take with you back to your apartment?" Masato questioned

She let out a hum in thought before she shrugged. "I don't remember what I left behind. So let me see what I did leave behind." She said before she first opened the closet door

She had forgotten just how little clothes she had and that her brothers and mother used her closet. She shut it and went into the dresser on the other side of the room only to see that it was clothes from her twin brother Ren in the dresser. Which meant that it was empty before. She then went into the vanity drawer to see that it was bare empty.

She then looked at Masato. "Seems like I hadn't left anything behind, I barely had things as it was before I worked. So this doesn't surprise me that Ren and the others have taken over this room." She said shaking her head

"They really wanted to kick you out of here didn't they?" Masato asked sadly as he stepped into the room towards her

"I guess so, I hadn't realized how much my brothers truly hated me till now. I don't care about how much regret that they have now, they shouldn't have treated me so darn poorly like they had." Rei said sadly

Masato pulled her into his arms and hugged her tightly as he placed his head on top of her head softly. "It's okay Rei they had no reason to do what they had to you. At least you have your soul mate, they don't. I will always love and care for you Rei no matter what." He spoke softly and sincerely to her

Rei shut her eyes and teared up hearing him speak before she held onto the back of his jacket and broke down crying against his chest as she realized just how much he truly loved and cared for her. He rubbed her back softly to comfort her until she was ready to let go of him. Once she had she looked up at him and kissed him on the lips softly. "T-Thank you Masato."

"Of course, you're my soul mate Rei, I'll do whatever I can to make sure you're happy."

She gave him a small smile and nodded her head before she shut the window and she took a deep breath. "I don't want to be in this room anymore...it's too depressing with too many bad memories for me."

"Then we can leave." He said as he held his hand out to her

She placed her hand in his and the two of them left the room as she shut off the light and shut the door behind her. As they went back to the sitting room the two of them sat together as they talked about what had happened while they were in Saotome Academy. It was obvious that there was a lot that Masato didn't know about that he needed to know since she was his soul mate.
