Masaomi thought about what Rei had said before he looked at his son. "Why have you been causing this poor girl so much trouble that she doesn't show emotion?"

Masato frowned as he looked down ashamed "I've been afraid of commitment towards her. Having to be around her has scared me. I didn't think that I'd ever be part of the whole soul mate system that has been going around. I figured being what I am it would keep me from being a part of it. But that wasn't the case at all."

Masaomi let out a sigh shaking his head before he looked at Rei. "Tell me before my son's mess up's did you have feelings for him?"

"Yes, before finding out just what type of cowardice male your son is-I adored and loved your son like no other. I was highly obsessed with you son, I have watched every performance he has ever done thus far. But I hadn't realized there was more going on behind the smoke and mirrors he places up as a front for the fans." Rei said with a nod of her head as she had her hands on her lap

"I see, you are aware of his position in this family yes?"

"I am more than aware of that sir. Which hopefully when he's done playing dress up with his friends he will take his position seriously." Rei said with a nod of her head

Masaomi looked at Masato. "Your soul mate knows what's important and what's not. I approve of her. In time I hope to see you two marry. This soul mate system has given you a logical woman to place you on the right course. Any time she wishes to come here she is more than welcome to be here."

Masato looked stunned before he looked at Rei, only to see that she went back to eating once more without a word. He then looked back at his father and nodded his head. "Yes father, I understand."

After having dinner with his family the two of them left out, as the duo left out he pushed her up against the side of her car as he cupped her face in his hand making her look up at him. "Why did you say what you had about me? Do you really want to get on my bad side that much?"

"I didn't think you had a bad side. I hoped with what I said your father would wave it off and say that I was wrong to say what I had. But he didn't-so I don't know what you expect out of me after you cowering away from me not just once-but twice because you are afraid of commitment. Does being around me scare you that much?" She spoke with no emotion in her tone

He let go of her jaw and he placed his head against her shoulder. "Have I truly done this to you Rei? Have I truly made you feel like you can't express yourself to me anymore?"

"Yes. Just what did you hope to achieve here? I'm not some scared woman who gets afraid of elders easily. The fact that you even thought that I'd be afraid of speaking my peace when given the chance is rather pathetic. You have no idea just what type of woman I am. You never take the time to try to get to know me. You work more than spend time with me. How can I try to trust you when you aren't home for me to do so?"

He was silent as he heard her speak, he didn't have an answer to her question. But he did know what he had to do, he had to be home more to spend with Rei. He looked at her once more before he kissed her on the lips as he brushed his thumbs against the sides of her face.

"I'll do what I can to be home from here on out. I want you to trust me again Rei. I want to see you be back to yourself again."

He let go of her and she went to the drivers side, the drive home was just as silent as it was on the way there. When they got home Rei changed her clothes before she went to sleep.
