We are who we say we never are

In this world
It is infinitely easier to bring someone down
than it is to raise ourselves up

There is no such thing as a bad person
Just lazy people
weak-willed people
whose sole purpose is to find happiness with the easiest way possible
they won't care who they hurt
they won't care what they will do
they won't care what they will lose
they wont care..
all they will know is their own happiness
and the fear of losing it

For in this world the hardest thing a person can do is to care
because if we truly care about something
we accept its fragility
and therefore our mortality
for in this world
Our world
everything is fleeting
even happiness
even ourselves
and how we choose to accept it
therein lies
the meaning of life

Pity the people who care only for their own happiness
for they are damned to die knowing only themselves

For it is the people who are willing
to accept the hardships, the pain and the sorrow
of caring for something else
Something other than their own happiness
Something more than themselves
that will know what it truly means to live

In this world
It is infinitely easier to bring someone down
but it is also infinitely more fulfilling to raise ourselves up
to be more than this world
