The Other ways to say "I love you"

Goodbye

For the first time
In a long time
I had nothing say
No thought came to mind
And My heart felt nothing

And even though there are
certainly more ways
to say
"I Love you"

I no longer care

For what started as a message of hope
slowly became a string of Epiphanies

That no matter how many times
Or how many ways
you say "I love you"
if they are not listening
You might as well be whispering to the wind

And I guess that's what it all was

Whispers in the wind

And for the first time
In a long time
I was myself again

I who said nothing
I who thought of nothing
I who felt nothing but
the strange sensation
of Loss

There are other ways to say
"I love you"
This isn't one of them

...This is a Goodbye

To the one I loved
To the one I lost
And to the one I will never meet
