We love because We are, Not because We can

Religion is not faith

Education is not Intelligence

Society is not humanity

Religion cannot be lived without faith
but
Faith can be practiced without religion

Education cannot be learnt without intelligence
but
Intelligence can be taught without Education

Society cannot define humanity
and neither should it define people

It is humanity that should give meaning to Society
and its importance

We are given life
not to be perfected

We are given life
to be experienced

But how many of us are so willing
To give up their own abstract ideas of faith
for the written and concrete traditions of a religion
we can never honestly know

how many of us are so willing
To ignore the intelligence we were born with
for the absurd standards of an Education
we can never truly understand

And how many of us are so willing
To trade the freedom that humanity has freely given us
for the expensive acceptance of a society
That will never care for us

From the moment we open our eyes
and our very first cries
we were alive

Its only when
we follow our own beliefs
nurture our own knowledge
define ourselves
and give meaning to our lives
can we truly say
We are living

The meaning of our life should not come from a god
nor the world
and not even by the people we love
Instead
Our life should be defined because we have these things
because
We have a God we keep sacred
because
we have a world we care for and protect
because
we have people we love
