People say money is the root of all evil
But
Money never lied to me
Money never started a fight with me
Money never made promises it can't keep
Money never told me what to do and what not to do
Money never leaves me unless I want it to
Money never judges the people that I give it to
And as long as I work hard, money will always be there
Money is just a piece of paper
But isn't it funny that this piece of paper
is better than most of the people I know
People say money is the root of all evil
But how can a piece of paper
that never does anything
be evil?
This is why
I am sorry
If I should choose money over you
Its only because
I can love money more than I can love you
Because Money is not the root of all evil
It just gets blamed a lot
