Brady POV

today was awful. i found out marcus is still in the hospital from what i did. i couldn't give the slightest fuck, he should feel lucky he's not dead

what's pissing me off is everyone looking at me like a fucking monster. marcus has such a good reputation, he's like a saint in their eyes.

'why would you do that?' 'what did he ever do to you?' 'you're such an asshole'

all i wanna do is tell everyone who he is. a rapist, manipulator, abusive, vile person. but i can't. callie would never forgive me

she's still so adamant on no one ever knowing. she told me she wants to forget about it.

it's all i think about, so it's definitely all she thinks about. she won't just forget about it, but i don't know how else to help her except respect her wishes.

we're going to this party tonight. callie didn't invite me, keiron did. said it was some big party they do every year, hosted by some posh private school twats.

that's why i'm sat in a car with the boys going 130 to this party in the middle of fucking nowhere on a wednesday night at 1am.

"you know this party's full of private school girls" isaiah gushed to the rest of the car. "horny sluts they are"

"fuck isaiah do you ever shut the fuck up?" i said dryly, staring out the window

"you're just mad cause you're pussy whipped bro" he smiled, "get over it, and her. get some pussy"

there were times i really couldn't stand isaiah. he was a nice guy, for the most part, but his whole life centred around girls. it was sad

"get a life" i said under my breath

"i mean, come on, callie's hot and all, but no bitch should ever get you in your feels like this. you already hit that"

"don't fucking speak about her like that" i raised my voice, turning to the backseat.

he finally shut the fuck up, as landon turned up the music.

we finally arrived, walking up to the large house. the party seemed to be mostly outside. people sprawled all over the grass. smoking weed and sniffing coke.

the music blasting out the speakers made my head throb. i was never in the mood to party in the week. but if something happened to callie again, i don't think i could take it.

"brady!" kerian shouted over the music, waving us over.

"what's up?" i asked, giving kieron a quick fist bump. "wheres callie?"

keiron motioned his head to the other side of the pool. callie was dancing, her long blonde hair illuminated by the strobe lights.

she looked stunning. so carefree, probably due to the drugs she's definitely taken.

then she turned around to a guy, locking her arm around his as he smiled down at her. the way she smiled back reminded me of before everything happened. she was just happy

and then she kissed him, and it hurt.

all i wanted to do was go over there and pummel that fucks head into the poolside.

but i had no right. not after what i done. me and her weren't anything, and she could do what she wanted

doesn't mean it didn't piss me off

"who's she with?" mason asked

"i don't know" keiron said, turning to look me at, "don't worry. i've kept my eye on her. sober driver tonigh"
