Azra

As I stormed towards my chambers, Prince Sylas stopped. A wicked grin appeared on his face while I was fuming on the inside.

"The hell do you want?" I sneered trying to push past him, but he again he moved in front of me. I met his stare as he seemed amused by how desperate I wanted to leave.

"You seem to hate my family so much" he said slyly as I rolled my eyes. I don't have time to be wasting around when I have to go deliver the news to my cousins. I need to figure a way out to get the hell out of this marriage, but I couldn't even understand how I got roped into this in the first place.

"I do hate your family. Your family isn't as innocent as you think you all are" I mumbled before he grabbed my shirt and slammed me against the wall. As all my guards immediately directed their swords towards us.

"You think that you're all that, Azra, but I can tell you that you're a useless piece of shit" he whispered as I pushed him off. "That rich coming from you" I smirked as his eyes began to glow.

"You want to talk about being useless? Maybe go look at yourself in the mirror. For someone who claims to have marked my sister, you surely are doing a poor job even finding her" I said as I began to walk away from him. I need time. I just need time to make it seem that I'm pissed that we haven't found Aurora.

I need time to pretend that I have no idea what their plans are but as I began to walk away, Sylas blasted a beam towards me as I dodged it. They began to apprehend him as he yelled "I WILL FIND HER AND SHE WILL COME HOME WITH ME"

I waved him off as I entered my room. I didn't need Lilly to witness the commotion that the Prince of Lumar was doing. I guess the apple doesn't fall that far off the tree, shutting my door as loud as I can so that everyone knows not to interrupt me.

Lilly and Ashely were doing each other's hair while Percy was polishing his sword. Immediately they halted as they looked towards me. They knew that nothing good happened as they looked at me waiting to spill.

"They called off my engagement with Madeline" I whispered. They all gasped as Lilly stood up to run a give me a hug. It was her way of comforting people, which I didn't hate about her. We both grew up together and she became my personal maid after her mother had died.

"Why would they do that?" She asked as she let go of me. Concerned fill in her eyes as I tried not to let my tears slip.

"I'm now betrothed to Princess Xylvie" I spat out as Ashley's power began to rumble throughout the entire castle. Percy and Lilly tried their best to calm her down, but when she's in a fury, there's nothing that may calm her down.

"What the fuck do you mean?" She asked coldly as she put a barrier around herself. No one in my family besides my parents are allies with the Lumar Kingdom. They're well known for their evil doings and scheming ideals, but no one would've guessed that I would be married off to the daughter of the Lumar Kingdom.

"Exactly as you heard. I'm being forced to her marry her and if I don't, my right to my throne and my reputation will be tarnished" as I began to feel powerless and empty against people who are my parents.

Percy began to chant a small spell as my room became covered in flowers as he walked towards me. He looked in so much pain that he actually summoned flowers to make me feel better.

"Flowers tend to make everyone feel better" he mumbled as a pink flush appeared in his cheeks. I rolled my eyes, smiling and pat his arm. I appreciate how my cousins were trying their best to make me feel better but nothing can cover the pain that. My heart was enduring.

"So what are we going to do?" Ashley asked quietly. Shadows began to appear around her as she was fighting her own turmoil. I wasn't sure how to move forward. How to proceed with having to marry myself with the daughter of Eshler family that is until Lilly began voicing her opinion.

"Go forward with it" she said as we all turned towards her wide eyed. Did she just have a change in heart? Please don't tell me she now supports them, but she noticed immediately our shock and began to speak before we questioned her.

"Think about it this way.. If you marry Princess Xylvie, she would come live with you and you can grasp more information about her parents and brothers plans if they do manage to find your sister.. Maybe this would give you all the advantage to find a way to destroy their plans" she rambled nervously before the three of us smiled widely.

It was such a beautiful idea and it would definitely give us the upper hand. Ashely hugged her as Percy placed a flower behind her ear for appreciation. I turned towards her and gave her a small smile.

"Lilly, when I marry her, I want you to become her lady-in-waiting. That is if you feel comfortable working with us" I said. Lilly looks at me shocked before she nodded her head with determination.

"Yes, Your Highness"
