Chapter 8: “Confessions Between Chaos”
POV – Jungkook’s Apartment
Morning
A deep groan rumbled from Jungkook’s throat as he stirred beneath the blankets, his skull throbbing with every heartbeat. The taste of regret sat bitter on his tongue—but not for everything.
Last night played before his eyes like a fevered dream. The kiss. The desperation. Taehyung's lips against his. The heat. The fire. And not an ounce of remorse lingered.
His gaze wandered across the room. Empty again. Just like before. Just like always.
Taehyung had left. Silent and early—again—before Jungkook could face him. Before he could say a word.
Still dazed, Jungkook dragged himself into the bathroom, the cold water doing little to sober the storm inside him. When he returned to the living room, the smell of food grounded him. A plate left out—familiar. With a note beside it, as curt as ever.
"Eat the food."
That was it. No warmth, no concern. Just like before.
He smirked bitterly and ate in silence.
Then left for college.

POV – College Rooftop
The lecture was a blur, words floating through the room like smoke. Taehyung couldn’t focus—not when Jungkook wasn’t in class. His thoughts were a mess. He needed air.
The rooftop offered silence and sky—until he saw him.
Jungkook. Standing with his back turned, wind ruffling through his dark hair like he belonged to the clouds.
Taehyung was about to turn away. But—
“Taehyung.”
His name—soft, yet heavy.
Taehyung froze.
“I wanted to say something... Tae.”
That nickname. From Jungkook’s lips, it felt like a sin and a salvation at once. Taehyung turned, eyes sharp.
“What? An apology?” His tone cut like glass.
“No.”
Taehyung blinked. “What?”
“I’m not here to apologize.”
Jungkook stepped forward and before Taehyung could react—his lips were captured again.
It wasn’t gentle. It wasn’t tender. It was chaotic. Breathless. Raw.
Taehyung’s eyes widened as Jungkook broke the kiss, staring deep into his soul.
“I don’t regret last night.”
The words fell heavy like thunder in Taehyung’s chest.
“I said... I don’t regret it.”
Confusion crashed through Taehyung like a wave. “What the hell, Jungkook? Are you still drunk?”
“Drunk enough to kiss you until you forget how to breathe.”
His voice was low, teasing. Dangerous. He moved closer. Taehyung backed up instinctively—until his back hit the wall.
Jungkook's hands found his waist, his cheek, his presence magnetic and suffocating.
“What... are you doing, Jungkook?” Taehyung asked, breath trembling.
“I like you, Professor Kim.”
