The count down begins

Day — 28.12.25
Time — 8:30 A.M.
Location — Taehyung’s Apartment

D–4 | 96 Hours Before the Charity

The screen glowed softly in the dim living room.

“Choi Foundation.”

A clean, polished logo appeared, followed by carefully curated images — smiling children in classrooms, doctors tending to patients, relief camps set up in disaster zones. Everything looked pure. Untouchable.

“The Choi Foundation is one of the largest charitable organizations in the country,” Kai explained calmly, fingers tapping the remote.

“They fund orphanages, medical aid, disaster relief, and education programs.”

Eunwoo scanned the data rapidly, eyes sharp behind his glasses.
“Public records are spotless.”

“They are,” Taehyung said quietly. “Because most of the work is real.”

The screen shifted.

CHOI FAMILY
Choi Han-seol — Elder Son
• Owner & CEO of the Choi Foundation
• Public figure, respected philanthropist
• Handles legal operations and media presence

Choi Minjae — Younger Son
• No official role in the foundation
• Operates behind the scenes
• Controls private investments and foreign accounts

“The foundation is Han-seol’s world,” Kai continued.

“Minjae works in the shadows.”

Jackson frowned, arms crossed.
“So they split roles.”

“Yes,” Taehyung replied. “One builds trust. The other uses it.”

The next slide appeared — red-flagged transactions, broken money trails, blurred surveillance stills.

“Choi Minjae uses international donations as cover,” Kai said steadily.

“Funds are redirected through shell companies.”

Another marker lit up.

“Illegal arms trading,” Kai continued.

“Political figures bribed for protection.”

“And he never appears at public events,” Eunwoo added.

“Because he doesn’t need to,” Kai replied.

“He lets his brother stand in the light.”
Taehyung’s voice dropped.

“That light keeps Minjae invisible.”

Seojun leaned forward.“Does Han-seol know?”k

Kai hesitated — just a second.

“No,” he answered honestly.

“Han-seol believes his brother is clean. To him, Minjae is family. Nothing more.”

“So Minjae survives because Han-seol’s name protects him,” Jackson muttered.

“Yes.”

The slide changed again.

UPCOMING CHARITY GALA
• Large international donations
• Presence of the President of Seoul
• Global media coverage

“This event is critical,” Kai said.

“It allows Minjae to move massive funds in one night.”

“And weapons,” Taehyung added calmly.
