At the General Hospital – Gabriella's room – Gabriella was sleeping, with injuries on her face and arms, when Skye, Lila Rae, and Lorenzo entered. "Gabriella," Skye said as Gabriella woke up. "Gabriella, you're going to be alright," Skye added, touching Gabriella's hair. "What happened? Why am I in the hospital?" Gabriella asked. "You don't remember?" Lorenzo inquired. "I remember what happened in the hotel. You're not my parents. I went outside, but that's all I remember," she replied. "You were hit by a car when you ran outside," Skye explained. "Am I alright? Mo—Skye," Gabriella said, struggling to find the right way to call Skye. "I'm your mother. Nothing has changed; we are still family," Skye reassured her. "Yes, we are," Lorenzo said. "Can I go home?" she asked. "No. Your kidney is damaged, and you will need a new one," Lorenzo responded. "No," she said, but Skye added, "We will get you one. You will be on dialysis for now." Lila Rae said as Gabriella was trying hard to keep her eyes closed. "Why don't we go and let you rest?" Lorenzo suggested. "I'm tired-Da-Lorenzo," Gabriella mumbled. "Gabriella, you can still call us mother and Dad. We are your parents," Lorenzo said. "Let's go," Skye said, and they headed into the hallway.
Skye was upset about everything and leaned against the wall as Lorenzo approached. "Skye, I will get a kidney for our daughter," Lorenzo vowed. "I'm so angry with you! Any more secrets left?" Skye yelled. "No," Lorenzo replied. "If Carly never found out, you were never going to tell me! Were you?" she demanded. "No, I did it for our family. I have no regrets about bringing Gabriella into our lives," Lorenzo stated.
At Carly's house – Carly stood in her robe in the living room, a scratch on her arm, when there was a knock at the door. She opened it to find Lucky. "Lucky, I'm sorry about the hotel drama. I was just upset. It should have been about Laura," Carly admitted. "Yes, it should have. Where did you run off to? After Gabriella found out about her parents, she ran into the parking lot and was hit by a car. Do you know anything about that?" Lucky asked. "No," Carly replied. "Why do you have a scar on yourself?" he continued. "I fell on the way to my car," Carly explained. "We will find out who hit Gabriella, and it's not going to end well." "I didn't do it," she insisted.
