I think I did pretty good on my first chapter. I'm still focusing on my other story that is coming to an end but I really had the awesomest idea! This story will be longer than The Guys List so no worries. Enjoy! :)

Saturday

"So, what was up with that kiss?" I asked.

Briana blushed.  "Hormones, maybe?"

That wasn't a good enough answer for Kylie. "Do you like him?"

"Well....yes I do. Like, I think I'm falling in love with him." She sighed dreamily. She was interrupted when her shorts started vibrating. "Oh," She pulled her phone out with a smile. "This is him right now. I'm gonna go outside." She listened for a few seconds into the phone.

She put a finger over the mouth piece. "He says it's private." She giggled and ran out the room.

Kylie sighed to herself. She stood up and looked at her reflection. Her curly red hair stopped just above her shoulders. She wished she looked like Briana. Blonde hair, pretty hazel eyes, and a nice hourglass figure.

Instead, she got curly red hair, boring brown eyes, and barely there curves.

All of a sudden, her phone started buzzing. But why? The only people who had her number was Briana and Nick. And they were talking to each other.

A random number was calling. "Hello?" Kylie asked cautiously.

"Hi Kylie!" It was James.

"James? How'd you get my number?" Kylie asked, slightly dizzy. "Ya remember when I lost my phone and I called it with your phone?"

"Ya...,"

"Well, I saved your number." Kylie could practically hear the victory screaming from his eyes.

"Ya, but that was a year ago."

"I know," He sounded sad and embarrassed at the same time. "I finally got the guts to call you."

"Oh," Kylie looked around her room for something else to say but her room was absolutely boring. Plain white sheets, dark wood flooring, white dressers, and a small closet in the corner.

"Did you call for anything you needed to ask or say?"

"Uh.., I heard there's a new girl coming to our school on Monday." He was obviously trying to keep her on the phone.

"Oh that's cool." Kylie said sarcastically.

"Kylie!" Briana shouted as she came back into the room. "Is that Briana?!" James asked excitedly. Kylie didn't want to hear anyone else obsessing over her friend so she hanged up on him.

"Yes Briana?" Kylie asked with a slightly annoyed attitude. "Nick asked me out!" Briana started jumping up and down on my bed.

Kylie just watched her jump. "Guess what I said?" Briana asked when she saw that Kylie wouldn't be giddy jumping with her.

"N-"

"I said yes!" Briana interrupted. She pulled Kylie's arms over to the door that opened into a small balcony.

"I'm so happy for you." Kylie forced herself to smile and dance with her friend. "Thanks!"

Monday

"Hey girlfriend!" Nick said when he saw Briana and Kylie approach his locker. "Hey boyfriend!" Briana replied.

They hugged each other for the longest time. Kylie rolled her eyes. "Hey Kylie." Nick said.

I was about to reply back when he turned to face Briana. "Briana, our first date should be after-school today."

"Oh, I can't," Briana looked like she had cramps. "I have to try-out for talent show again since they lost the list of people that they picked."

"How about tomorrow?" Nick asked hopefully. Fine, pay no attention to me. But Kylie couldn't pull away. She wanted to be Briana so bad. It almost hurt not to see what she was doing 24/7. Maybe that's how James feels about her.

"We'll see." Briana smiled. Showing off a row of pearly white teeth. Her teeth disappeared behind her lips. Nick and Briana were kissing! Ugh, at this point, Kylie stormed away.

She stopped around the corner to see James and a blonde haired girl talking. She was tall and pretty. The perfect package.

Kylie strolled over toward them casually.

"Anna, you'll love it here. I know I do, and I've only been here since last year!" James joked.

'Anna' giggled. "I already do. I get to meet cute, nice guys here. Nothing like South Side High School."

James was about to reply when I barged in. "Hi, I'm Kylie. James's....girlfriend." Kylie held out her hand with a cheeky grin. "Girlfriend?" Anna and James asked at the same time.

Anna shook my hand. It was a firm grip and she shook my hand hard. Maybe South Side people did that. "I'm Anna," She put a manicured hand on her thin hip. "I'm new here."

"Nice to meet you!" Kylie lied. "Kylie, can I talk to you privately?" James muttered in my ear. It sent a shiver down my spine but I quickly said, "Sure boyfriend! Let's talk privately!" A few people looked our way and started whispering.

"Sure, I gotta get to my first class anyway." Anna left with a disappointed look on her face. Kylie felt a little guilty.

"Kylie, I'm not your boyfriend." His voice was harsh. "Just because your friends left you as a third wheel, doesn't mean you have to barge into my love life with Anna."

"You like her?" I asked in disgust. "Yes. Now, I'm going to tell her that we're not dating. He leaned away from my face. "I suggest you tell everyone else we're aren't dating either."

"His loss." Kylie murmured to herself.

Bring! That was the final bell for my first class. Chemistry. It was her favorite class because for one, Josh was in that class, he sat next to her, and it was her only class with him. Then she sighed. Briana was also in that class.

"Today will be a short day." She sarcastically remarked.
