Thursday
Kylie didn't have the guts to face Anna yesterday. In fact, she ate in a stall that day. More because, she didn't want to see how Elaine would react. Elaine was one of her truest friends in the bunch.
She claims she's a 'half-vegetarian'. In her words, it means that she doesn't eat most meat but she loves her chicken!
But a certain blonde just had to ruin my day. "Kylie...,"
Briana. "What do you want Briana? We aren't friends anymore." Kylie snapped.
Briana's face became hurt. Kylie instantly felt guilty. She sighed. "Yes Briana?"
"This...war, has gone on for too long." Briana started. She wiped a stray tear of her cheek.
"Uh huh."
"I have a peace treaty." She held up a blue colored paper with neat hand-writing on it.
I took the paper from her shaking hands. "Just sign on the bottom line." Briana said quietly.
I didn't even bother reading. I signed my name with her fuzzy pencil. "Here. There, done."
Kylie closed her locker and headed up to 4th period.
Thursday - Lunch
"Hey Kylie!" Anna waved from their usual table. Everyone else was no where to be seen.
"Hi Anna." Kylie said under gritted teeth.
"Beth and all of them went outside for a little while. So it's just us!" Anna exclaimed when Kylie sat down.
"Okay, I'll get straight to the point. What is your problem?" Kylie asked angrily. Anna's face contorted into a frown, then a disgusted look.
"What are you talking about?" Her voice sounded angry.
"You psycho!" Kylie screamed only for Anna to hear. "You made me slip on that water, made me think Josh ditched me, and you payed people to humiliate me!"
"Who told you that?!" Anna's angrily voice whisper-asked. "Olivia told me! God dammit, I can't believe you did all this just so me and Briana wouldn't be friends!" Kylie shouted back.
"What the fuck!?" Anna shouted, loud enough for the whole cafeteria to hear.
But it went unnoticed. "Ugh, don't ever talk to me again, Anna!" Kylie ran out the cafeteria into the courtyard.
Now where is the group so I can tell them what a phony Anna is?
Thursday - Behind the Courtyard
Kylie finally spotted the group, but being the nosy one, she decided to eavesdrop on their conversation.
"Beth, are you and Elaine gonna go to the strip club tonight?" Either Skyler or Tyler was talking.
"Yeah. But first, we gotta buy some new lingerie. Jeff doesn't give us anymore." Bethany replies.
Ethan laughs. "You got the joint?" He mumbled.
"Yep, right here." A plastic bag was heard dropping on the ground.
"What the hell?" Kylie whispered to herself.
"Did you hear that?" Tyler asked in a panicked voice. "No." Skyler said.
"It sounded like it was coming around that corner....," Beth said slowly.
Kylie's face turned white. She couldn't move. Her friends were drug dealers and strippers!
Beth, Tyler, Skyler, and Ethan peeked around the corner to see a shaking Kylie. Elaine was nowhere to be seen.
"What did you hear?" Ethan asked in a hushed tone. "Everything." Kylie blurted.
Skyler sighed heavily. "Then you know we're druggies?" Beth asked.
Kylie nodded, wide eyed. "Shit." Ethan mumbled to himself.
"Wh-why didn't you just tell me?"
"Because it's none of your bees wax." Bethany said. Skyler elbowed her in the stomach.
Ethan crouched down to Kylie's level and stared deep into her brown, tear-soaked eyes.
"Beth was just jok-"
"No I wasn't!" Beth interrupted. "Beth didn't mean it like tha-" Ethan tried to say.
"Yes I did!" Beth shouted. "Whatever," Ethan rolled his blue eyes. "The point is, nobody was suppose to know that."
Kylie looked at Ethan. Not in the same way before. A sweet boy. Now, as she looks at him, she sees..... a druggie.
