Long time, no see. Haha ^_^! I'm just happy that I'm finally 18, I finally graduated, I'm finally moving into my OWN house. Yes! :D

My date was finally today. As I slipped on my sneakers, Natalie came into the room.
Natalie has brown hair with blonde highlights, zit-free skin, tiny freckles, and pretty brown eyes.
Her eyebrows furrowed when she caught sight of my denim blue skinny jeans, plain white t-shirt, and make-up free face. "What are you wearing on your first date? Why so casual?" She asked.
"Uh, cause we're only going to the movies." I replied. Natalie rolled her eyes and huffed. "On your first date?! He's taking you to the movies?" She demanded.
"Yep." I said simply. "That's better then mine and Conner's, we just made out on his couch." She shrugged her shoulders as she walked over to my closet. "Why not some shorts? He'll think your legs are sexy."
"Sexy? It's cold outside," I raced to my closet to pull a jacket out. "I need warmth."
Natalie rolled her eyes again. "Fine, Conner and I have business to talk about anyway." Natalie lived with us while her parents are in Egypt for the next ten years for unknown reasons...
She left the room, leaving me some early prep talk to myself.
Kylie, he should be here in less then 10 minutes. Be cool. Just be yourself....okay, a little above yourself.
"Kylie! Josh is here!" My mom called. Ten minutes early, great. "Coming." I answered back softly. I patted my straight red hair then headed downstairs.
"You look great." Josh said when we were in his car. "Thanks, same to you." I replied.
Josh picked out a scary movie for us to watch. I didn't mind. It was Insidious.
The movie wasn't that scary. Except things would pop out alot. I didn't jump into Josh's lap, not once. Which I think he was disappointed about because when we got to the entrance of the movie theater, he didn't even ask to give me a ride home.
"Kylie!?" I knew that voice, it was coming from behind me. Briana.
I spun around to see her and Anna in matching jeans and shirts, standing by the entrance.
"Oh shit." Josh whispered.
"Shit ya." Briana chucked her soda into the garbage can. "What the hell are you two doing here? Together."
"On a date." I mumbled. Briana raised her eyebrows. "Congrats Kylie. You finally have your first date." Anna said. "Maybe you'll get your first kiss."
The two giggled and walked out the side entrance. It was complete silence. Say something Josh!
When I looked up, all I see is Josh's retreating figure. He just stood me up, even though the date was technically over. Kylie went out the exit that Anna and Briana went.
It was dark outside, stars twinkled in the sky. Briana and Anna were still visible, standing next to an open-roofed red car.
I watched as Anna climbed into the drivers seat and Briana got in the passenger seat.
Kylie didn't know what to do, so she sat on the curb. Soon, a pair of bright lights pulled up beside her. It was Natalie's blue Lexus...08'.
The window's rolled down. "Get in!" Conner shouted from the passenger side.
Without a second thought, I got up and got in.
Natalie pulled away from the curb and started driving down the highway. "Where's Josh?" Conner asked.
"He ditched me after the movie was over." Kylie said angrily. "What a douche." Natalie commented.
"And on a school day. You need rest." Conner reminded me.
"And it's ten o' clock at night." Natalie added. Kylie jumped. "Seriously?! Does mom know I'm up pass my curfew?"
Natalie and Conner shook their heads. "We're going to a club. You can come with, Kye." Natalie said.
Conner shot his fiance a look. "What?" She asked innocently. "She's not 21, duh." Conner rolled his eyes
"Fake ID's, duh." Natalie shot back. She handed the card to me. "Looks real." I said.
"Yerp." Was all Natalie said.
So that's how I got into Club 21. With an excited Natalie, a giddy me, and a sulking Conner.
Thursday - Club 21
"The music is pumping!" Natalie shouted. "Ya!" I shouted back.
"Hey, isn't that James?" Conner asked. He was pointing over to a blonde guy who was hunched over at the bar.
"James?" I yelled over the music. He turned slightly. When he saw me, his eyes widened and he jumped out his chair. Only to run over to me.
"Hey." He ran a hand through his hair. "What's are you doin' here?" I shrugged. "With my brother and his fiance." I pointed to the two who were on the dance floor, dirty dancing.
He grimaced then turned to me to show a weak smile. "You're not 21."
"Neither are you." I replied back.
"To shay, why are you up so late?" I shrugged. "I was on a date with Josh."
"Oh, okay cool." He rubbed his elbow awkwardly. "Wanna dance?" I finally asked. He grinned like his old self. "Sure."
June 3 - Last Day of School
"I hope you all have a great summer, you're dismissed!" Mr. Barns announced.
Kylie was finally free. Next she was going to be a Junior. "Aren't you happy? We're finally out of school!" James said.
I nodded her head. James and I decided to walk to Dairy Queen together. The favorite hot spot after-school on Friday's and now, last day of school!
"Yeah, I just wish the school year ended better." I replied back. "Like, you, Nick, and Brianna still being friends?"
"Sorta, and Elaine....and Beth....Ethan...," I trailed off as they were ahead of us in the train line of students. Kylie could barely hear James say, "Who?"
June 3rd - Dairy Queen
"Strawberry icecream!" Shouted a whole group of teenagers in front of Kylie and James.
When they moved out the way, James put a twenty on the counter. "Um, I'll take the number nine."
"Plain vanilla with fries, please." Kylie said politely to the teenager behind the counter.
"Coming right up."
When they sat down, Kylie noticed that Briana, Anna, Meredith, Olivia, and Danielle was right across from them, just talking and eating icecream.
"Is it good?" James interrupted my staring. "Uh..., ya, ya. Yes, it is." Kylie stumbled over her words. Then she blushed.
All James could do was smile.
