Sitting in Dairy Queen next to my ex-friends was a drag. Especially when Anna decided to sit right next to us.
"Hey James." She gave him a long kiss, ignoring my disbelief. When they pulled apart, Anna smirked at me.
"Hey Anna. What brings you here?" He mumbled to his icecream. "Oh, just wondering what you're doing here with Kayla." She was talking to James but staring at me.
I glared. "It's Kylie." I told her. Anna raised her eyebrows in fake shock, "It is? I could've sworn you were Kayla...the girl with PINK UNDIES!" She shouted the last part for everyone to hear.
I clenched my fist. Enough was enough. Time to stick up for myself! "Shut up, Anna! That was so 4 months ago!" Anna's jaw dropped, everyone watched the whole scene unfold.
"Get over yourself! Get over me! I'm sick...sick of you walking all over me, high and mighty just 'cause you hang with Briana!" I gasped for air. She was about to answer when Natalie stepped in, making the door chime and everyone turn towards her.
Natalie blushed. Then she glared. "What the fuck are you guys looking at?" She held up her middle finger all the way up to James and Kylie's table with a causal look on her face.
"Hey." She smiled and dropped her finger when she reached the table. "Conner's in the car. Ready to go?" I totally forgot I called the two lovebirds to pick me up. But that was a hour ago....
"Ya." Kylie took one last look at Anna. "We can go now."
Tuesday
"So what are you gonna do? It's summer break?" Natalie asked with a tiny smile. I shrugged. "Hopefully I can travel with you guys...," I trailed off and mussed my hair again.
It was a boring sunny morning. Morning hair sucks.
"Conner says we should go on a cruise first. I say we go to Disney world in Florida." Natalie ran a hand over her messy updo. I turned to my future sister. "Again? No way. Aren't we a little too...old?
Natalie raised her eyebrows in surprise. "NO! Who said we're old?" She shouted.
I backed away in terror. Natalie could be pretty scary. "Nu-no one. Just a thought...," I giggled nervously.
Natalie shrugged innocently. "Okay then." She stood outside the doorway. "Bye."
Tuesday - A Bit Later
"Mom, is it alright if I go with Conner and Natalie for the whole summer?" Kylie asked her mother.
Conner and Natalie were thinking about moving into a small house across the street. "Hmm..," Kylie's mom tapped her pinky nail against her coffee mug. Kylie looked on with a hopeful smile on her face.
"Sure. Why not?" She was interrupted with hug from her daughter. "Thank you, thank you, thank you, ma!" Kylie ran up the stairs in search of a suitcase.
Thursday
"Here's your room, Kye." Conner gestured to the baby blue walls and blue carpets. A single bed stood by the big window, a small closet, and a dresser completed the otherwise bare room.
"Thanks Conner." Conner let his shaggy black hair fall in his face as he looked down. "Your welcome."
He shuffled out the room awkwardly. Kylie rolled her eyes and set her two suitcases on the floor. One filled with her clothes&shoes, which was the biggest one, stayed near the closet. Her medium sized bag held her make-up products (which wasn't alot), shower necessities, and her retainer.
Once half her clothes were in the closet, the door swung open.
"What are you doing?" Natalie demanded. "We're going on a bunch of trips and your unpacking?"
Kylie's eye widened in horror. "Conner!" They shouted together. In a few seconds, the gorgeous black haired stud was in the doorway. "What?" He snapped.
Natalie put her hands on her hips. "Why didn't you tell Kye not to unpack?"
"Uh...um." Conner ran a hand through his hair. It was funny watching Conner stumble over his words with Natalie. She was probably the only girl to ever get him to lose his cool...and cockiness.
"Ugh. Whatever. Pack it back up." She turned to me. "You, come with me." The girls left the room, leaving Conner to pack up Kylie's stuff back in her bag.
Thursday - The Mall
"Why are we here?" Kylie asked nervously as she stared at the Chesterfield Mall. "I need some new swimsuits." Natalie replied.
Natalie turned to Kylie when they walked into Victoria's Secret. "What is up with you? Never been to a bra store?" She asked with a teasing smile.
But Kylie wasn't paying attention. She was watching the three girls in front of her, look at the lacy underwear.
Briana, Anna, and Meredith. All blondes...
Natalie followed her line of site. "Are those the bitches that keep messing with you?" She whispered. Kylie nodded her head. Without a second thought, Natalie marched over to the three.
She tapped Briana on the shoulder, the one she knew the most. Briana turned around with an annoyed look on her face. When she noticed Natalie, her face softened a little. "Yes?"
"You fucker. Don't pretend you don't know me." Natalie said. Anna and Meredith gasped. Briana narrowed her eyes. "I don't know you anymore. What are you doing here?"
Natalie rolled her eyes. "This." She pushed passed them and picked up a B-cup bra. "Kye, isn't this your size?" She called casually.
Meredith, Briana, and Anna whipped their heads over to me. I practically fainted in my head when I started to walk over to Natalie.
"Uh, I think this is her size." Anna picked up a 34 bra. Everyone giggled besides Natalie and Kylie.
Natalie shot her an annoyed look. "Why would you know? Kye, is this the girl who keeps staring at your boobs?"
Anna put a hand over her mouth in shock. Meredith giggled slightly. Kylie grabbed the bra out of Natalie's hand with a glare. She was half delighted for Natalie to stick up for her. But she really wanted her to shut up.
Natalie suppressed a "what?" glare. Kylie looked away. "Who the hell are you?" Anna finally asked.
Natalie dropped the underwear back in the pile. "I'm Natalie. Who the hell are you?"
Anna looked around the room in fake wonder. "Anna. Who are you to Kayla, her girlfriend?" She cracked up along with the others.
Natalie let out a fake laugh. "Nope, her sister-in-law to be." She looked at the girls up and down. They each wore blue jeans short-shorts, different color stringy tops, and flip flops. "What are you staring at, lezbo?" Meredith finally spoke up.
Natalie started laughing hysterically. The girls stared back in confusion. Kylie giggled in embarrasment. Natalie stopped to catch her breath. "I'm looking at some examples of what my child will not be." She flipped her hair and walked out the store without buying a single thing.
