"Uniforms?!" An unidentified voice shout-asked.
"Yep." Bellowed the new principal, Mr. Neal. Kylie and Elaine grumbled with the rest of the students in the auditorium.
"Mr. Richard will be showcasing them in his Sewing class today." Mr. Neal added.
"This bites." Ethan said when they reached the door to Mr. Richard's class. Kylie stared at the uniform. For girls; plaid navy skirts, almost knee high navy socks, a plain white shirt, and a plaid tie. For boys; navy pants, long sleeved white shirt, and a plaid tie also.
"They're so....," Anna scrunched up her nose for the right words. "Ugly." Briana concluded.
"Agreed." A couple of girls nodded their heads.
Tuesday
"Did you get yours?" Elaine asked over the phone. "Yeah, mine feels itchy." Kylie said.
"Lucky." Elaine huffed. "Mine feels really tight."
"I'll meet you outside." Kylie mumbled. "Kay." Kylie snapped her phone shut and shoved it at the bottom of her bag.
"I'm heading out, mom!" Kylie said from the front door.
A few minutes later, Ms. Henderson's muffled voice replied back, "Kay honey, have a good day at school."
Kylie closed the door gently behind her. When the wind picked up, she slipped on her white cardigan. She and Elaine had gotten the same thing on their back-school-mall trip.
Kylie spotted her friend at the end of her driveway, trying to pull her pink hair into a ponytail.
1st Person: Kylie
"Elaine!" I ran up to her. "Hey Kylie, ready to walk to school?" She asked.
"Yeah, but I was hoping we could ride with your brother's to school." I suggested. Elaine looked back at her house where Elliot and Ethan were about to get into Elliot's white mustang. "Okay." She murmured.
"So can we hitch a ride?" Elaine asked her older brother sarcastically.
Elliot shrugged. "Hop in."

"Crunk it, cru-cru-crunk it!" A dude on the radio scream-sang the lyrics.
"Who is this?" I shouted over the music. "A new rapper named Crunt." Elaine shout-replied.
I crinkled my eyebrows in confusion. "It's a mixture of crunk and it." Ethan explained from the front seat.
Elliot stopped at a red light and turned around to face us. His brown hair falling in his eyes. "The dude became my hero." He grinned at me.
I smiled back when he turned around. Elaine turned to see my blushing face. "Do you like Elliot?" She whispered.
I looked out the window as the trees went by. "You do!" Then she frowned. "What about Ethan? He's crushing big time on you."
I finally turned back to her. "Elaine, I have enough on my plate right now. I don't need a fourth boy."
"Fourth?" Her eyebrows furrowed. "Are you a whore?"
I snorted. "No, I just like three other guys. But Nick is starting to come off that list...," I trailed off when we reached the school.
"Bye guys." Elliot waved as soon as the three teens piled out. "Elizabeth is gonna pick you guys up."
"See ya." Ethan and Elaine waved to their brother.
"Nice outfits, nerds." Meredith said when Elaine and Kylie walked passed her.
"We're wearing the same clothes!" I told her. Meredith blushed with embarrassment but quickly turned it to an annoyed expression. "Whatever, you're just so happy because you can finally be on the same level as me, involving style."
"Agreed!" Danielle hollered.
Elaine and I rolled our eyes all the way to our first class.
"Welcome class, health class has begun!" Ms. Bock announced.
"Yeah!" A deep voice shouted from the back.
"You guys already learned how to make babies so-" I few guys laughed in the back, interrupting her sentence. She glared over her thick glasses.
"So, we'll learn to take care of the babies." The teacher pulled a box of plastic baby's from under her desk. "Pick one piece of paper from this hat. That'll be your partner." She tapped the black hat.
She held it under the first girl in the row, Dianna. She cautiously took one out and looked at it.
Ms. Bock snatched the paper from her hands. "Congrats, you got Mr. Hicks. Go pick a baby boy." She said in mono-tone.
When she got to Elaine, Elaine stared a the hat with fear in her eyes. "Pick." Ms. Bock snapped.
She grabbed one and opened it. Ms. Bock peered over her shoulder to see. "Congrats, Elaine! You had twins!" Ms. Bock said in a excited voice, other than her bored tone.
"With Josh. Go." She added. I looked around at the remaining people. Katie, John, James, and Rayna.
Oh no, Katie was in front of me! What if she picked James! "John?" Katie Goodpaster asked.
John stood up with a grim look upon his face. "Girl." Ms. Bock insisted. "Kylie, pick."
I hesitantly put my hand in the bag. Only one name left, yes! I picked it up and flipped it over.
Upon the peice of paper, there a short-lettered name read, James Baldwin.
