since that day the whole sophomore year made things interesting for the both of them . despite finding each one another annoying . they couldn't deny that they are one another's motivation .
senior year welcomed them brightly as the two of them were mostly in the same class together . they were also sitting beside each other as the teacher told them to . it is as if the universe had planned it out .
at first , aera would find him annoying especially when he sleeps in class . yes she let it slide since he's an athlete and was probably not getting enough sleep but he snores quite loud .
she finds it hard to concentrate and so everytime she noticed him getting sleepy , the girl would instantly and loudly call the teacher to ask for a specific question . even though she already knew the answer herself .
the ravenette did not also liked the fact that he was getting disturbed but what can he do ? the girl has more important goals to do rather than him sleeping in class .
one thing that also annoyed her was how his desk looks messy . and so when she gets the chance which is when he's occupied for too long and not in the class , she would organize his stuff when no one's around .
this girl gets distracted easily and seeing his messy desk could only make her sigh . and when it's time for heeseung to go back , he would find his stuff organized and neat . he was confused since he didn't left it like this but would just shrugg it off thinking that maybe jake cleaned it and so he resumes to practice .
aera did not care at all when she received not a single " thank you " from him . it's her benefiting anyway .
winter season came and although the surrounding looks and feels cold . and it brought warmth to aera and heeseung as they gor closer to each other .
it all started when they were taking their genmath test . she studied all night only for her to forget her calculator at home that send nervousness and helplessness to her . she knew she could still anawer without it but it would consume her time since the test has time limit .
heeseung was sleeping when he heard noises coming from beside him and slowly opening his eyes , he saw a panicking aera scattering her belongings on her desk , it seems like she's finding something he thought .
" what are you looking for ? " the ravenette asked .
" my calculator ... " after saying it , the girl teared up as her chest tightens .
how are you so stupid that you forgot your calculator ?!
hiding her face away , she sniffed quietly while wiping her tears . " ... sorry "
" here . you could use mine . " heeseung said with a warm smile trying to cheer her up . the girl looked at it before slowly taking it . " and you ? how are you going to take the tes- "
" i'll be practicing for a big game . don't worry about it . "
" from now on , you should ask me anything you need and i'll make a way for it for you . "
and by prom the two started dating and eventually made it official . mostly some did not agree with their relationship but what weapon do they have against them ? falls accusations ? absolutely no . don't even try them .
they love each other so much that the only thing they worried for each other was getting hit by a vehicle on their way to school and home .
their last senior year were also filled with good memories . heeseung studied hard just so he could be in the same university as she is . planning to take business the same as hers .
the universe granted his wish and brought them together again at college . but this time , things are a bit different than highschool . everything is serious .
aera pushed herself into studying to the max and it affected her health bad that heeseung had to convince her on taking things on her pace and not to chase the time . but she can't help it knowing that the biggest disappointment she'll face were not the people around her but herself .
it makes her feel so weak knowing that many eyes are on her . expectations of others were basically her meal at this point . it matters even the smallest mistake but never the right .
" if you keep on following what others expect you to be , you won't be you . "
she heard the ravenette said on the other line of the phone . heeseung's right . everything will align according to your liking and comfort not by them .
" thank you , hee . "
" welcome beautiful . "
the girl hang up before finally closing her books and stood up to make herself a proper meal . it has been so long since she ate real food and not some meal inside of a plastic . it feels so nice to treat herself like this thanks to heeseung .
he really is her escape .
time passed by and they were still together . having dates from time to time while feeling as if it's their first time . they never gets old .
heeseung has matured alot compared to what he was like from highschool and first year . not only his physique has changed but also how he acts . all in a good way ofcourse because despite of his changed , he's still the same heeseung she met and loved from the past years .
same goes for aera , she learned how to express herself more without the fear of what they think or say about her . she views life so differently from her past self and all in a beautiful way thanks again to him . she's grateful that God gave her a safe place ... a home .
for her , she couldn't ask for anything more . and for him , all he could ask for is her . and God granted it both .
" i'll love you until my hair turns grey . "

" well all you have to do is stay with me . "
" and that's what i'm planning . "
love is in the air and cupid did their job really well but cupid's arrow also means that love hurts . no matter what the circumstances are , love is so hard to be on your side all the time .
they started to fall apart midway before graduation and what happened was not what he wanted to hear from her . and what she never wanted to say to him .
