James - I'll be at your house at 10pm tonight and the planetarium opens at midnight, so you'll be home around 8am, is that OK? (15:02)
Emily - I didn't understand the calculations, but that's fine with me... I'll just talk to my parents and I'll let you know for sure... (15:02)
James - Okey... (15:03)

- MOTHER! - I scream.
- I'M IN THE KITCHEN! - He shouts back.
Down here, I ask:
- Mom, can I go to the planetarium with James today?
- And you'll miss tomorrow? - he replies calmly.
- What?
- Tomorrow's Monday, you have to get up early.
- Oh, that's right, I'd forgotten it was Sunday. Vacations, where are you?
- But you can go, I know you've wanted to go there for a long time, but we don't exactly have the money to buy tickets for everyone.
- I know, Mom, I understand. But James hasn't told me how much the tickets cost either and something tells me he won't.
- Have you made up? - my mother asked suddenly.
- I think so. - I reply. I still don't know if I've fully apologized to him and I don't want to be the one who gets a present every time her boyfriend does something wrong, and it always comes back to him. Not that James is my boyfriend, but I could tell.
- Good, he's a good boy. - tell me. He seems to have won over my mother. - And what time do you come and go?
- He said he'd be here at ten and back at eight in the morning. - I'll let you know.
- And what are the rascals going to do for so many hours?
- I don't know, but as far as I know we only go to the planetarium. I've never been there either, so I don't know how it works.
- Of course they're staying at the planetarium. - he tells me ironically. - Are you taking condoms in case he doesn't have any?
- No, Mom, I'm not and I don't feel like having that conversation right now.
- Okay, but when you go somewhere, send me your GPS location so I know where you've been in case something happens. - Tell me.
- Thanks, Mom! - I say, giving her a big hug. I'm so excited. As I walk up the stairs, I write to James:

Emily - MY MOTHER LET ME GO (15:10)
James - NIIIIICE (15:12)
James - I'm going to see what I'm going to wear... (15:12)
Emily - Already? I thought you men saw what you were going to wear 30 minutes before you left... (15:13)
James - Not my case ahah (15:13)
Emily - I'll watch too... casual or formal? (15:15)
James - I'm going for a formal look, but not a classic one... (15:38)
Emily - Okok and what colors? (15:42)
James - Black and white, why? (15:42)
Emily - Curiosity (15:43)

I thought it was going to be difficult to choose the dress I was going to wear, but as I want to match James, I only have one dress left, which I was given a few months ago and have never worn. It's a semi-formal bodycon dress, long, sleeveless, with a high collar, all black with lots of white dots, and it looks like the galaxy because of its pure color. I've been waiting for the right moment to wear it and there would be no better time than now to do so.
As it's still early, I'm reading the theater script until dinner, earlier today, so I have time to get ready in time.

After dinner, I go upstairs to the bathroom and lock myself in the shower. When I've finished, I take off the cap that has protected the waves in my hair. Now it's time to do my makeup. How am I going to do it? I don't know yet. As I've already mentioned, applying make-up isn't a habit I have in my routine, but I think I need to do a little something to make my dress look even more beautiful.
I start by cleansing and moisturizing my skin in preparation for putting on the foundation, which is supposed to match my tone, but when I look in the mirror I laugh because I look like I'm made of bronze. Spreading it on with more dedication and with the help of the highlighter, I end up with a better tone. Looking at myself, I wonder what else to do. I know it's the eyes now, but I don't know what to do... I could put on false lashes or whatever they're called, but I want to keep things natural. After all, I have long lashes, so I think mascara is enough. For eyeshadow? Guess what... I have no idea! I like nude colors, but I'm going to a place where even the simplest nude draws attention, so why not take a chance? If I'm going to see stars, I'm going to shine like them! I take a shimmery eyeshadow and a nude, and make a gradient from the inside out, where most of it shines. Now for the biggest challenge: eyeliner! I don't get away with it, I find that my coordination leaves me when I try to do it, since the first stroke is all crooked, so in order not to be late, I look for a tutorial that miraculously ended up helping me. After ten minutes of just doing it, I got the indigo eyeliner I wanted so much.
I'm already taking too long, which I don't like. So, not wasting much more time, I apply a pencil to enlarge my mouth a little, a nude lipstick that matches the rest of the palette I've used and a gloss on my upper lip which, while I put on the perfume, I spread over my lower lip. After forty minutes, I can finally look in the mirror and see what I look like, with all the work I've done. I hope I'm not overdressed.
