Sunlight filtered through the hospital room curtains as barcode slowly opened his eyes. The hum of medical equipment surrounded him, but it was the sight of his family that brought him comfort. His mother gently brushed his hair back, whispering soothing words. His father, holding his hand, smiled with relief. At the foot of the bed, his sister  beaming with joy.

"You're finally wake , son!!!", his mother said happy tears were dripping from her eyes.

"You gave all of us a heart attack , nong !! How dare you to do this to yourself!!", p'creamy said playfully hitting his shoulder.

"Ouch!!", barcode pretended to feel pain

"What happened!! Did i hit too hard ?? I'm sorry...", p'creamy said worrying about his little brother.

"It's ok phi. I'm fine. Maa...", barcode looked at his mother, Wiping her tears, "I'm sorry maa. I didn't want to make you sad but...", barcode looked down.

He was feeling guilty after seeing his mother and sister crying and worrying so much about him.

How could you think about ending your life barcode when you have so many people around you who loves you and cares about you?? , barcode though.

"It's okay, son. I'm not sad anymore. You're okay. And this is all matters.", she said smilingly.

"I should beat you very hard code. I was away for few months and you did all these?? ", p'creamy said pretending to get angry.

"Maa... See phi is threatening me. ", barcode said hugging his mother.

His mother also smiled at his son and daughter. She finally saw a glimpse of the son he was missing so much .

The whole morning maa and p'creamy was with me. Their love was so overwhelming that the thought of p'jeff didn't came in my mind for once.

For first time in those months, i finally realized that i can actually live well.

I talked with them a lot. Paa went out of town for his business. After  making sure that i was fine he left.

No one came during the time , maa and creamy was here. But after they left , a unexpected person came.

"Hello barcode!!!", p'game greeted. I nodded in reply.

"Are you feeling alright now ?", he asked.

"Yes , phi", i said.

"Good!!! Everyone was so worried about you. Especially jeff. You really made him feel very guilty, nong!!", he said.

I didn't want to have any type of conversation with him. He was the least person i wanted to see also.

"It's good that you're fine nong. ", he said smilingly.

"Yes, phi !", i said.

"There is some food for you. I know the hospital foods are not really testy. I hope you'll enjoy it. ", he said handing the basket of food to the nurse.

I nodded.

"By the way, barcode. I heard you've stepdown to the series??", he asked.

"Yes phi. But it's...", i tried to complete when he cut my words.

"That's actually good. If arun didn't come in my life i would never dropped the series. You and jeff has a huge age gap. It might have looked awkward", he said with a smile on his face.

Somehow his smile, felt like a taunt to me.

"I always wanted to do the series. Everything is already ready. And everyone knows me well too , and unlike you I've some experience too. So it won't be hard for me. Don't you think barcode?", he asked again with that smile.
