"You should've seen her Johnny" Iesha couldn't talk without smiling. She talked about me like she was a proud mother, I mean the girl wouldn't stop smiling after I got Chris's number.

I invited Johnny over that night after what just happened. He sat on the couch next to me, while Iesha paced back and forth behind the couch. "I mean the two of them had chemistry" she sung in her cheerful voice.

Johnny winded his eyes glancing at me with a wide toothless smile. I couldn't help but to roll my eyes. "I mean you two were eye fucking" Iesha's words caused Johnny to cry laughing.

I laughed myself almost choking. "Girl, what" I shrieked. "You're making stuff up now" I whined.

She ran in front of the couch facing us. "Nah don't tell me you didn't see the way he was looking at you girl" she narrowed her crazy eyes. "He was licking his lips like you were a meal on a plate" she yelled with excitement in her voice.

"Girl, she is so happy for you" Johnny chuckled his words out. His cheeks were red and his eyes were shut behind his glasses frames.

"Yess, my girl is finally gone get some" Iesha began doing the tootsie roll in a slow motion.

"Uh-uh girl sit down" I cried out of embarrassment. I only wanted to hide, hearing her talk about me for so long. So I put my knees up to my chest and held them up on the couch.

"Call him" Johnny nudged me in a teasing tone.

"Not with you guys here listening" I whined shaking my head no and pouted my bottom lip like an upset child.

"Ok J" Iesha said with seriousness. She put her hands on her hips staring downwards at me. "If Johnny and I left, would you call him?"

"Yeah, get out" I got up and rushed them to leave. As soon as they stepped foot out of the apartment I slammed the door but left it unlocked, I wasn't that mean.

Once they left I took a deep breath before grabbing the house phone. Slowly but surely I dialed his number and put the phone to my ear. White-boy licked at my feet and the phone ring in my ear. The phone ring and ring, I began feeling intense emotions.

Shame and embarrassment ran through me like a chill up and down my spine. I hated the feeling and hung the phone before looking down at White-boys white coat. My body jumped and I watched white-boy startle too, he jumped hunching his back like all cats do when frightened.

The sound of the phones ring scared us both, he ran away and I picked up the phone. "Hello" I answered raising one brow.

"Hey, is this Justice" that familiar raspy voice belonged to Chris.

The same fluttering feeling I get when around him began to flutter in my stomach like butterflies. "Yeah, this is Justice"

"Sorry, I didn't answer before, I was in the middle of a workout" he chuckled in a chatty tone.
