𝕁𝕦𝕤𝕥𝕚𝕔𝕖With the moon arisen, I slept another peaceful sleep in his bed. Before having to leave, unfortunately it was back to work. Leaving Chris felt like a magnetic pull, I didn't want to leave the man's side. We gave each other too many kisses to count before the cab rushed me in and I was off to work.
Like normal, I began working on my clients head full of thick hair. Her coarse hair felt silky to touch, by the time I finished her appointment I walked her to the front door. "Thank you" I said taking my twenty dollar tip from her hand. As the door slowly shut behind her another hand from the outside stopped it. The hand belonged to Johnny, he caught me off guard at first.
"Hey Justice, you're glowing" he spoke full of enthusiasm. His mouth was stuck in a curved upwards smile with a pink, yellow and purple bouquet of flowers in one hand.
"Hey Johnny" I said suspiciously watching him walk on around me. My eyes followed him as he walked past the front desk waving at Jessie and straight to Heywood.
"Hi my love" Johnny greeted Heywood.
Heywood faced Johnny giving him a peck on the lips with his hands around the small of his back. The two of them stood too close for my comfort and my jaw was left on the floor. I mean, they stood stomach to stomach.
"Why do you look so surprised, isn't this what you wanted Justice" Jessie asked throwing a green grape in her mouth.
"Yes but it's happening so quick" my eyes widened watching them.
"I brought these for you" Johnny handed Heywood the bouquet.
Heywood gasped from his speechless mouth and widened eyes. "Aww thank you" he gave him a kiss on the cheek. "I'll put these in the vase in the back" he said with red cheeks and began walking to the back.
"So" Johnny faced me.
"So, what was that?"
"We're dating" he said know-it-all.
"Since when?"
"You'd know too, if you weren't spending so much time with Chris" Iesha spoke from across the room with clients head in the sink. I don't know how she heard me with the water running.
"I have been spending a lot of time with him huh?"
"It's a good thing Justice, you need to get out more" Jessie said giving me a wink. "I'm happy for you"
"Thanks Jessie, I'm happy too" I said feeling my mouth curve.
"Yeah, I can tell, it looks good on you" Johnny said rubbing my arm up and down.
I gave him a stunned look. "So I didn't look good before?"
"No honey" Heywood said barging in with the vase of water in his hands. "You looked horrendous" he said dramatically with his witty eyes.
I found myself laughing at him with Johnny. "Shut up Heywood, so did you" I sassed playfully.
Heywood placed the flowers in the vase on top of the front desk. "Whatever, your just a hater"
"So things with you and Chris are getting pretty serious huh" Jessie asked raising her brows.
I nodded my head with my arms crossed. "Yeah, they defiantly are"
Jessie narrowed her eyes as if she was crying and began patting her eyes. "Aw you kids grow up so fast" she whined dramatically wiping away her imaginary tears.
