It took Iesha and I sometime to convince Johnny to come to the shop. Only to start a conversation with Heywood. Our day at work started off normal, both Sam and Tamika were helping out where they fit. It felt nice to finally have another hand helping around, giving me less work.

Then he walked in, Johnny came in turning heads around the shop. Everyone except for Heywood looked, Iesha squeezed my arm out of excitement as we watched them before our eyes. Heywood was cleaning his station, Johnny flashed a smile at us before putting on a serious face.

He walked up behind Heywood before introducing himself. We couldn't hear them much, not from across the room. Iesha bit her nails as I chew my gum like a raged cow. The two of them talked, Johnny engaged first or course, at first Heywood looked at Johnny suspiciously with narrowed eyes.

Until a few seconds of conversation we watched him soften up to Johnny in his posture and attitude. A subtle smile grew on my face. It was nice to see Heywood getting along with someone. They exchanged words before laughing.

"This is going better than I thought it would" Iesha jumbled to me. I began to hit her shoulder rapidly out of excitement while I witnessed Heywood handing Johnny a card.

Johnny nodded his head looking at the card in his hands before looking in Iesha and I's direction. He wore a smile looking at my excitement, I wore it on my face with widened eyes. Until Heywood turned around scolding us with his cold eyes.

Once our eyes made contact Iesha and I startled, we jumped looking away from his direction. "Do you know them" Heywood began raising his voice on Johnny. His forehead was tense and so was his veiny neck. Johnny shook his head no, I felt bad watching the worried fearful look on his face. "They put you up to this? Get out" Heywood yelled loud enough to grab the clients attention.

Everyone in the shop stopped what they were doing to stare. Jaws were dropped and heads were turned. Everyone except for Jessie looked surprised, instead she glared her narrowed eyes as if we were about to get a butt whooping. After our clients and long hours for the day it was time to head home.

Sam and Tamika, left first, I began rushing myself, trying to leave with them. "Justice, where you going" Jessie's voice sent a chill down my spine.

I turned around with a smile, she stood behind the desk with her arms crossed and one brow raised. "Was that your friend in here, talking to Heywood" she spoke straight forward and direct.

I gulped looking between her and Heywood. He twisted his jaw while glaring at me. "Yes and Heywood I was only trying to help" I spoke sincere.

"Justice, you don't know me like that" he sassed loud. "That man invited me to a gay club" he spoke defensive.

"It was my idea too Heywood, you didn't have to yell at that boy. He's going through the same thing your going through we—" Iesha spoke in my defense before being rudely interrupted by Heywood.
