As Levi walked under the bleachers, he saw [Y/N] sitting on a milk crate, Hange standing beside her. Tears were flowing down [Y/N]'s face as Hange was trying to comfort her, rubbing her shoulder. Levi looked around, and there was no sign of Zeke or anyone else for that matter.

"Where is everyone? What the hell happened, and why is she crying?" He questioned Hange as he walked a little closer to the two of them. The sound of feet hitting the ground coming in their direction made everyone turn their heads.

"Sorry I'm late! I was stuck in the locker room, trying to get that damn eagle mascot costume off." Eren said, trying to catch his breath. Fritzy popped up behind him, trying to catch her breath as well. "Where is Mikasa?" He said as he looked around. "Wait, is [Y/N] crying?"

Hange sighed and looked down at a still crying [Y/N]. "I sent Mikasa the same text I sent you guys. She must be taking a bit to get here, or maybe she went home already. I'm really not sure. As for [Y/N].. Zeke seemed to be upset about the loss, so [Y/N] tried to comfort him. Apparently, he didn't want to hear anything about it. He shoved her against the pole over there, started calling her names, and threatened her. I'm afraid if I haven't shown up, worse may have happened. He was extremely riled up, I've never seen him so angry."

Everyone's mouth was ajar from the words that left Hange's mouth. Sure, Zeke has never been the nicest person, but he was never one to act out in such a hostile manner.. especially not towards [Y/N]. Levi's eyes widened for a moment, which was then followed by his brows furrowing and his jaw clenching tightly. Without a word, he turned around and made his way quickly out from under the bleachers.

"Wait!" Eren yelled to Levi, but he was already gone. "Shit.." He mumbled to himself.

"It's fine! Levi can handle himself if he actually decides to approach Zeke, I'm sure of it!" Hange smirked as the lenses on her glasses seemed to glare up in that strange way again.

Fritzy and Eren passed each other a glance and shrugged their shoulders. "Hange is probably right.. huh Eren? Ha ha.." Fritzy said almost nervously. Eren knew what she was getting at, but of course, they had to be careful what they said in front of anyone else. All of this made Eren nervous, but he had to remember what Fritzy said. They needed to let everything play out as naturally as possible. They can't interfere or say anything that might prematurely trigger any of Levi's memories. It kept repeating in his head over and over.

"Oh, Mikasa just now messaged me back! She's home already." Hange said as she looked down at her phone and adjusted her glasses. Eren let out of a small sigh of relief.

"Levi didn't really go to find Zeke, did he? Why would he do that?" [Y/N] finally spoke as she wiped some tears from her cheeks.

"I'm pretty sure he did, my dear.." Hange looked down at [Y/N] and smiled softly. "..as for the question of 'why?'.. I'm pretty sure it may just be who he is."

"I don't need him to stand up for me. That's stupid. He doesn't even know me, and he doesn't feel well right now. If something happens to him, I will feel terrible. Why does he feel the need to go out of his way for me?"

"If you ask me, I think that little short stuff might have a soft spot for you.." Fritzy said as she walked over to [Y/N] and kneeled next to her, wiping some wetness off her cheek.

"I actually think the same! Well, based on what [Y/N] has told me, and all of the kind gestures he's done for her since he's met her, it sure seems that way!" Hange looked at [Y/N] and smiled widely.

"He probably just feels bad for me. Since he's met me he has only seen me in fucked up situations. He probably thinks I'm a weak, pathetic piece of shit. I don't need some random new guy thinking I need to be saved. I don't want anyone's sympathy." [Y/N] said in a serious tone, stood up off the crate, and forcefully wiped her cheeks again. She started walking towards the large opening beneath the bleachers.
