[Guys, can we just admire how beautiful this chapters header photo is?! It's so pretty I want to cry. How dare this man not be real 😭]

[10:15 p.m.]

Levi walked into the first empty room he saw and closed the door behind him. It looked like some type of fancy office space or study. There was a wall full of books and a desk off to the side against another wall. A small lamp sitting on top of the desk softly illuminated the room. In the center of the dimly lit room was a maroon colored sofa. He slowly walked over and plopped down, pushing himself all of the way back. He leaned his head against the soft fabric and exhaled deeply.

The room was starting to spin more, and he knew it wasn't because he was drunk. He only had that one drink Hange made for him earlier. Something triggered this episode. He wasn't sure exactly what.. but he was pretty sure it had to do with Petra. Maybe it was just the people he's been around all night in general.

Levi was aware he hadn't felt like his usual self mentally since he arrived at the party. It was all driving him insane. Kenny, Eren, Hange, Mikasa, Zeke.. and of course [Y/N]. Not to mention whatever the hell just happened with Petra. Lately, it felt like his mouth would just open, and certain words would just come spewing out. He felt like he had absolutely no control over it. Levi knew this all had something to do with these memories that Hange mentioned he had to recover, but he wasn't able to piece any of it together.

Stressed out was an understatement. All of this was draining him, and he just wanted to collapse or disappear. It finally hit him. He wanted to go the hell home.. but what the hell was a home without anyone to return to? Kenny was stuck in a coma, practically knocking on death's door. Isabel and Farlan had their own lives now. It wasn't like when they were younger. They didn't need Levi to be around all of the time anymore. All that left him was Hange.. or [Y/N]..

Why the hell was he even still thinking about her? She was here with Zeke. In his arms. By his side. Even after everything he's done to hurt her. Levi was angry.. but at the same time, he had no right to be. Maybe he should have taken Hange's advice and just told [Y/N] how he felt. He tried.. but in his own way. I guess I just didn't do enough.. it probably wouldn't have changed anything either way, he thought.

Levi had never felt so exhausted over a woman before. Not to mention a woman that wasn't even his to begin with. He shook his head at the thought of how fucking stupid he must have seemed. He had more important things to be worrying about right now.

A few minutes passed, and although his head was still spinning, he decided to try and get back on his feet. He stood for a second but instantly fell back onto the sofa. His head felt like it was going to burst open from the constant pressure. Even the dimly lit room was starting to be too much for his eyes to handle.

Levi's eyes struggled to glance around the room. Suddenly, they froze on a large decorative mirror that was hanging on the wall off to the side of him. For a moment, he saw himself.. but the longer he stared, the more the image he saw changed.

He tried to squint a bit to improve his vision, but his view still remained blurry. Maybe he was just seeing things, right? His eyes were playing tricks on him. These episodes were just making him go crazy. He squeezed his eyes tightly shut and then reopened them. The image he saw didn't change.

Levi slowly made an attempt to stand again and used the back of the sofa to hold himself up. His grip was extremely weak now, and his legs felt like jello, but he was determined. It was like something was forcing him, drawing him closer to this image in the mirror. He started to take small steps over to the fancy shaped glass.

Levi's body froze. He could finally make out the figure in the mirror a little more clearly. It.. was him.. but it wasn't. He took a couple more shakey steps forward, leaning on anything he could find on the way there. His breath was now becoming more and more shallow. Was it the fact that he was nervous or because this episode was beginning to completely consume him? He wasn't even sure.
