[Friday, 8:30 p.m.]

"You sure you feel alright, boss?"

"Yes, Izzy."

"Are you sure you really want to go to this party?"

"Yes, Hange."

Levi stopped scrubbing the bar top and looked up at his friends who were staring back at him. Confusion was written all over their faces. He sighed and dropped the rag that was in his hand into the sanitizing machine under the bar.

"Can you guys stop staring at me like that. I'm fine. I want to go." Levi said as he walked over to Farlan and handed him a small set of keys used for the bar. "Farlan, you're in charge for the rest of the night." Farlan nodded in response, and Levi then hopped over the bar top. "Izzy, behave yourself.. and don't hand out too many free shots."

"Yes, sir!" Izzy saluted playfully. "Have fun, short king! Bye, Hange!"

Levi grimaced slightly at Isabel's words. He was going to scold her for using that damn nickname he hated so much, but he decided to just let it rock for once.

"Bye all!" Hange exclaimed and waved goodbye happily. Her and Levi turned and made their way up the stairs and to the exit door of the 'The Underground'. A few seconds later, they were both walking through the slightly busy town streets. It was a Friday night, and everyone was on their way to do something fun. The sidewalks were filled mostly with college students and older men who were either already drunk or couldn't wait to be.

"You sure you really want to go to this party?" Hange asked and slowed her pace.

"I said yes already Four-Eyes so.."

"[Y/N] left to go to the party already. She left her dorm earlier with Zeke." Hange said as she watched Levi stop his stride suddenly.

Levi closed his eyes tightly and sighed deeply. "So that's why she left my apartment and went back to campus before.." He shook his head and palmed his face. "..why wouldn't she just tell me?"

Hange nodded and shrugged. "Maybe you shouldn't be going to this party anyway. I mean our friends will be there, yes.. but there will also be people there you.. may not get along with." She didn't want to say anything to Levi, but she was more afraid of the risk of something triggering one of his episodes. Of course, she wanted him to regain some of his memories.. but she also didn't want him to end up hurt. There were going to be a lot of people there, and she didn't want him to attract too much attention. Especially considering everything that had been going on recently.

"[Y/N] invited me. I'm going, and that's final. So let it go, Hange. I'm not changing my mind."

Hange sighed and started to walk again. "Alright, Levi. Just try not to attract too much attention to yourself."

Levi didn't say another word for the rest of the walk to Reiner's parents' house. He just followed closely behind Hange, his hands in his pockets, head looking towards the ground. After about 10 minutes, they made it to their destination. The home was large, modern, with brick siding. A small fountain outside in the front lawn was surrounded by small weeping cherry trees.

"Welp, here we are!" Hange said loudly and started walking towards the front door, which was being blocked by other people.. presumably other students of Freedom University. Levi continued to follow closely behind her as they pushed through the crowd and into the house. Once inside, the area opened up into a large open concept space. Basically, the whole first floor of the home was visible from the front door. Levi lifted his head as the sound of music blasting, and the smell of weed and alcohol practically slapped him in the face. He instantly scanned the area for any familiar faces, but none caught his eye.
