23. A Night To Remember

[Monday night, around 8:00 p.m.]

"Hi darlings! I've arrived!" Hange yelled as she walked across the sandy landscape and looked around at the starry sky. "Can't believe I'm back here! The last time I was here was.." She paused for a moment and sighed. "..nevermind it's not important. Hmm.. this place is a lot emptier than I remember. Also, can we make this quick? I have a date with [Y/N] at The Underground in an hour!"

"We are waiting for Zeke.." Eren said in almost an angry inaudible mumble. "Ymir's been trying to contact him through his brain waves and transport him for like 10 minutes now. Somehow, he is resisting, I guess. We are still getting used to this shit again. It's not the same.."

"Interesting.. so there are flaws in this new.. 'system'? It isn't like you can just ping him and POOF! he's here?" Hange curiously questioned as she bent over and picked up a handful of sand, letting it trickle down through her fingers. Eren shook his head.

Suddenly, Fritzy appeared through the center of the white glowing tree in the middle of the landscape. A clearly hesitant and nervous looking Zeke followed behind her. She was shouting profanities at him, but what else was new?

"You know.. you might seem like a 20 year old in this life, but don't forget you are really only a tween. You really should respect your elders.." Zeke said as they both approached Eren and Hange.

"And you don't forget I am technically thousands of years older than you, and.. you smell like Fritos!" Fritzy screamed at the top of her lungs. The sound seemed to echo through the open space.

"Oh, for God's sake! Fritos is all you could come up with? You are such a goddamn child!" Zeke replied.

"Oh my. Are they always like this?" Hange asked worryingly, turning to face Eren. "Shouldn't you guys be on the same page?"

"Yep and.. yep." Eren replied with a loud pop of the P. His palm pressed firmly over his face.

Zeke stopped suddenly as he noticed the other two figures in front of him. "What's the titan obsessed mad scientist doing here?" He asked, pointing at Hange.

"I'll have you know that I am not titan obsessed anymore, thank you!" She glanced almost furiously at Zeke.

"Hange, you named your kittens Sawney and Bean.." Eren added.

"That's different! I'm still a grieving mother!" Hange ran towards Eren and shook him by his shoulders. "And you!" Hange yelled and turned back to face Zeke, punching him in the gut with all her strength. "That's for triggering a thunder spear explosion and hurting my Levi!"

"Fuck!" Zeke fell to his knees. "She.. has her.. memories.. I presume." He said as he gasped for air holding his stomach.

"Yep." Eren said plainly. "Don't worry, she literally beat my ass to the ground earlier today. You got off easy, bro."

"OH YEAH, I DID AND I'LL DO IT AGAIN! I've been holding that in for ages!" Hange screamed maniacally.

"Calm down. We are all on the same side now.." Fritzy walked over and put her hand on Hange's shoulder.

"Oh.. sorry. I got a little out of hand, didn't I?"

"A little..?" Zeke groaned under his breath as he slowly stood.

"Where have you been anyway, Zeke? [Y/N] has been worried sick about you! How can you just disappear for days on end and come back acting as if everything is sunshine and flowers?! She's your fucking girlfriend!"

"I've been stuck here.. against my will. Being tortured by that one.." Zeke pointed directly at Fritzy.

"Oh." Hange paused. "Wait.. Torture? What kind of torture? Why wasn't I invited?!" Hange exclaimed and glanced back and forth frantically between Eren and Fritzy.
