Part 6: Suspicious...

Ellery's POV:

Bang! Bang! BANG!!!

What is that noice?

Ellery's eyes fluttered open as she heard another bang.

She looked around and then noticed that she was in a random room with a bandage around her forehead and right shoulder.

Why am I injured and in pain?

"OMG THE RAINBOW BOOM!" Ellery yelled.

Right after she yelled the banging stoped and Ellery turned to see a girl wrapped in bandages to her left. The girl had orange hair, freckles, and pale skin and she asked "Um... are you alright? My name is Ryla Hctiw by the way."

Ellery stared at the girls unique orange hair for a second then she told her "I am fine. My name is Ellery Foster and I'm the reason that we're hurt, I sorta blew up the alchemy classroom somehow..."

Ryla just nodded. "Who really cares? I'm from Exiliam and Foxfire's not a big deal. If anything, thanks for saving me from my sessions."

"You're welcome, I guess." Ellery said. "How long have I been unconscious Ryla?"

An hour? Maybe two hours?

Ryla looked puzzled. "Well, I woke up about an hour ago, so I'm not sure. Probably a day or so." Ryla told her.

That's a long time.....

"How long will we be injured? Do you know?" Ellery asked her.

"Hard to say." Ryla said, "if you take the medicine then you'll be healed in like... a week? But I don't really... drink that stuff..."

Why not?
That's weird.

"Is there a reason you don't drink the medicine?" Ellery asked.

"No. Well... yeah... but it's like.... A...... family thing? It's just... a...... secret, ok?" Ryla said.

Ok...
that was weird...

The door opened and an elf walked in. "Oh, hi Ellery!" He said.

It's Elwin!
The physician who healed my mom when she had an allergic reaction!

"Oh, hi Elwin! How long have I been unconscious?" Ellery asked.

"Umm... it's been two days. Your parents visited yesterday, but since you were unconscious, I had them leave. Since you're awake, I can tell them to come back. Only if you want though."

Uhhhh...
my parents are so embarrassing.
I do want to see them though...

"You can invite them." Ellery told him.

"Perfect. Oh, um... Ryla, do you want to invite your mom?" Elwin asked her.

Ryla looked at him for a second, then said "No... she is.... oh.... busy... with family things."

What things?

"Oh, that's fine." Elwin said. He turned towards Ellery and said "I will hail your parents later. Can YOU take some pain elixirs?" He asked her.

YAS!!!!
I'm in PAIN!!!!
Bring on the elixirs.

"Of course! My head and shoulder really hurts." Ellery explained to Elwin.

"Yeah... during the explosion you were slammed into a wall pretty hard. You were in the alchemy room so do you know why it exploded?" Elwin asked, as he handed her two elixirs. One of them was in a tall glass bottle and had pinkish orange juice inside. The other one was labeled "pain" and was filled with green sludge.
