Ryla's POV:

As Elwin freed Ryla from the Chair Of Doom he asked her "Why IS your last name so.... odd? Do all witches have strange names or...?"

Ryla blew out a breath and told him "Actually... every witch has an extremely long first name, and so we use nicknames most of the time. I normally go by Ryla or Rylabelle." She explained.

Elwin nodded as the chair clicked and un cuffed her. "Sorry about the chair.... I didn't know how this conversation would go." Elwin mumbled.

Ryla just kinda ignored him. "My last name is actually special. Do you know why?" Ryla asked him.

He won't know why.

"I'm not sure why." Elwin said.

Called it!

"Go get a piece of paper and a pen." She told him.

Elwin nodded and grabbed a paper and pen from the shelf next to him. He also turned on the lights so you could actually see things.

"Write down my last name." She instructed. When he didn't write anything, she signed and said "It's spelled H C T I W." Then Elwin wrote it down.

"I still don't get it." Elwin said.

Ryla smirked. "Spell it backwards."

Elwin did as she said and then he gasped. He looked at her and then at the paper, and then he held it up. It spelled Witch.

"Hahahah." Ryla laughed at how shocked he looked.

"That's weird. Do all witches have backwards meanings to their last names?!" He asked her.

"I don't know." She answered.

Then she took the paper and wrote down her friends name, who she met her at her Witch School. Her name was Danianabroomish Flenaton. But backwards her last names spelled Notanelf: Not-an-elf.

Ryla and Elwin both gasped and then started laughing.

"I can't believe I've never tried that before!" Ryla exclaimed.

They both laughed until Mr. Forkle opened the door and walked in. "I managed to get a meeting for you and the council." He said.

Yes!!!!!
DON'T BLOW THIS CHANCE!!!

"Thank you so much! When is the meeting?!" Ryla asked.

Tomorrow?
Next week?
Maybe in a month?

"Today." Mr. Forkle said calmly.

TODAY?
I'm nervous.....

"Th-thank y-you. Ummm... I should probably go then right?" Ryla asked him.

"You should be early..... and so you should leave now." Mr. Forkle told her.

"Ok." She said.

"Would you like me to go with you as a guest?" Mr. Forkle asked.

"Yes please." Ryla answered.

It won't be as scary if I'm not the only one there.
Right?

Mr. Forkle pulled out a leaping crystal and walked over to her. He was about to hold her hand when she shrieked and ran to the corner of the room.

"Witch's DO NOT light leap. Last time someone tried to they faded away and so now we only travel one way..... on our broomsticks!"

"Ok then. Should I met you there? You don't know where it is thou-" Ryla cut off Mr. Forkle and yelled "Ride my broomstick with me!!!!"

"Uhhhh.... I would consider it...." He said, even though he looked like he wasn't considering it. "But you don't have your broomstick! Darn! I guess I'll just light leap then." He said.

"Follow me!!!" Ryla yelled as she ran away. Out of the corner of her eyes she could see Mr. Forkle running after her. Ryla ran through the front door of Elwin's house and jumped in a bush.

"What is the meaning of this?!" He yelled.

"I DO have my broomstick!" Ryla said happily as she walked out of the bush holding a broomstick made of sticks a little taller than her.

"How....?" He asked.

"Doesn't matter! Hop on!" Ryla said as she levitated the broomstick and sat down with both legs on one side.

"Uh... can you even fly?" He asked gesturing to the cast of bandages wrapped around her rib and wrist.

"Yes. I've flown standing on one leg! One wrist and a broken rib is no biggie! Trust me."

"Fine." Mr. Forkle grumbled as he sat down on the broom. He copied the way Ryla was sitting and he grabbed on TIGHT.

Ha!
This will be fun!

Ryla slowly levitated the broom into the sky and Mr. Forkle looked scared.

"Which way to the meeting point?" Ryla yelled over the roaring sound of the wind.

"It's at the councilor's castles in-" he started to say, but was cut off.

"I know where that is!" Ryla yelled as she flew away.

"Ahhhhhh!!! Watch out!!! Ahhhh!!!!" Mr. Forkle yelled as Ryla flew unnecessarily close to the trees, just to scare him.

"Haha! This is nothing!" Ryla yelled as she flew in a loop-de-loop.

Mr. Forkle just kept screaming "Ahhh!" And Ryla laughed at him. "Hahahaha!"

Right, left, south, and over the bridge!

Ryla focused on where she was going as she flew by the landmarks she memorized.

Tree, big tree, lake!

Ryla flew them upside down over the lake and Mr. Forkle yelled even louder "THIS IS CRAZY!!!!! Ahhh!"

After about ten minutes of flying, Ryla perfectly landed her broomstick in front of the counselors castles where the entire council was standing outside waiting for her.
