Sophie Foster's POV:
"Sandor is that you?!" Sophie exclaimed as she saw him toss a girl onto a bed.
"Hello!" He said as Sophie ran over and tackle hugged him.
Omg!
I haven't seen him in years!
"What are you doing here?" Sophie asked him.
"Well... as you know I work for the council now, and I have been assigned to watch Ryla" he gestured to the girl on the bed. "And report back to the council on her..... behavior."
Why?
"Ummm.... Mom?" Sophie's daughter Ellery asked. "Who is that...?"
"Oh! Sorry honey! This is Sandor and he was my bodyguard for over ten years."
"Why did you have a bodyguard?" Ellery asked, clearly weirded out.
Uhhhhhhh.....
"Sophie!" Sandor exclaimed. "Have you not told this child anything about the battle with the Neverseen?"
"No.... It wasn't necessary!"
"If you like Sandor sooooo much, feel free to take him back." Ryla said.
"Having a bodyguard is no big deal Ryla." Sophie assured her.
"It is if you need to go to Foxfire with one." Ryla rolled her eyes as she said it.
Sandor laughed at that. "Ha! Sophie had five bodyguards in level three! One is nothing."
Sandor...
She didn't need to know that I'm a weirdo...
"Why do you even have a bodyguard?" Ellery asked Ryla.
"Oh yeah, I'm a witch." She replied casually.
Sophie and Ellery gasped.
"What?"
"How?!"
"Why are you here?!"
"I'm confused..."
Ryla laughed. "Yeah.... I'm doing level one right now without..... causing any problems to prove to the council that I'm trustworthy."
Oh my mallowmelt....
That witch girl is in Ellery's level...
Ellery CLEARY needs a friend that would be a GOOD influence if she wants to get back into Foxfire.
I mean.... There's no way she's not expelled.
She blew up the school!

"Well.... We're in the same level." Ellery pointed out.
"I need to leave." "and go back to the black swan..." Mr. Forkle transmitted the last part to Sophie. She nodded.
"It was nice to see you again Sophie, take care." Then he lifted up his Pathfinder and light leaped away.
"I was just here to visit Ellery." Sophie explained. "I'm going to leave now. Bye Ellery! See you soon!" Then she grabbed her home crystal and left.
